About Shear Wensleydale
We breed Wensleydale sheep for their high-lustre wool, fabulous fleece, long locks and soft tops. We sell them online or you can make an appointment to visit us and our sheep in our shop overlooking the fields where the sheep graze.
Shear Wensleydale Description
We live in glorious lower Wensleydale and run a small mixed flock of rare breed sheep including Wensleydales and Ryelands. We have always loved, spinning, knitting, dying and felting and have designed our own line of knitted, crocheted and felted products and kits using our beautiful own brand wool. We sell the products online and in our cafe serving tea and cakes overlooking the fields where the sheep graze. We are open Sunday - Tuesday 11am - 3pm.

This sleeping beauty arrived in the small hours - ready to welcome you to the tearoom and shop. ......Tea, cake, wool and lambs! Open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 11am - 3pm.
It may be a little grey outside but we have plenty of cute faces ready to greet you. Tea and cakes with plenty of yarn, tops and locks for you to enjoy every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 11am - 3pm.

We are eating mum's food, then jumping on her back. Having a nap and growing every day.
No more new arrivals this week, but we're busy preparing for Woolfest. Everyone is thriving and enjoying the spring weather.
