Photos from @sam_tyndall's last talk as our curate on Sunday evening. In the last of our New Beginnings series Sam spoke about God's call to us; 'now then, get ready' from Joshua 1 and John 14. @ St Barnabas Church Middlesbrough

This Sunday we start a new sermon series, Songs for the Journey. At our morning services we will be looking at Psalm 1 and in the evening Psalm 62.

This Sunday is Sam Tyndall's last as our curate. As well as saying goodbye to him in the services we are also going to have a farewell picnic in Albert Park.
It will be after the 11.15am service, but if you will be at a different service we should be at the park for 1pm. Head for the Brian Clough statue. (If the weather is bad we'll be in the church hall).
If you have any good games bring them too!

If you want to find out more about the plans for the Diocese of York over the next few years, here's a good video with Bishop Paul explaining what's coming up.

Tomorrow at 2.30pm in church we will welcome David Goodhew, our new Vicar, and Lindsey Goodhew, our new Associate Minister.
We will gather as a community that is 'ready for the new phase in the discipleship journey of this wonderful church, and that you're open to all that God in his love and power and grace wants to do in you and through you'.
