Just a reminder that children in Class 2 need to come to school in their pyjamas tomorrow & bring a teddy with them. This is to celebrate their class collecting 30 footprints. Well done Class 2! 👍

Just a quick reminder that Class 2 and Class 3 are going to Bolton Castle tomorrow. Please ensure that your child comes to school wearing their school uniform, sensible shoes and a coat. They will also need to bring a packed lunch unless you ordered one from the school kitchen. Thank you 👍

Dear Parents and Carers,
We are celebrating World Book Day on Friday 8th March. Children are welcome to come into school dressed as a book character. There will be a prize for the best costume from each class so get your creative heads on.
We are also running a competition where we are asking children to decorate a potato as their favourite book character. Potato characters can be brought in on the morning of Friday 8th March so that judging can take place in the afternoon. ...

Muddy Boots 10k & Family Fun Run Sunday 10th February 2019 Fun Run 10am and 10k Race 11am
Dear Parents/Guardians,
... Just a reminder that our 10K & Fun Run will take place THIS SUNDAY 10th February.
As per our last email we would really appreciate help with baking for the event to feed our 500+ 10k runners and fun runners. Any donations of cakes/biscuits/buns would be very much appreciated. Baking can be left at school office on Friday 8th, the school hall on Saturday 9th from 10.30-12.30pm or brought into school on race day.
Please also don’t forget to sign up your children to the Family Fun Run - paper forms were distributed to all children last week and will be in book bags.
It goes without saying that we need as much help as possible to make this event a success and we are hugely appreciative of the parental/teacher support we receive on race day.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible to help us make this school fundraiser a success!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the SWA Christmas Fair at the weekend. Whether it be through the buying or selling of raffle tickets, donations for prizes or stalls, visiting the fair or helping at the fair. Your contributions have all helped raise funds for the SWA which of course supports our school. Thank you all so much! A total raised will be announced shortly. :-)

Members of the SWA and teachers have been busy today getting everything ready for the Christmas Fair 🎄 🎅🏼 Please come along and support if you can. 11am in the school hall. 😃🎅🏼

Please note there is a change to the lunch menu tomorrow (Thursday 29th). Instead of Spaghetti Bolognaise the kitchen will be serving chicken casserole with boiled potatoes. Dessert will be as previously published - Arctic Roll and peaches.

Calling all parents...we need your help!
Anyone interested in helping the school’s PTA (officially called St Wilfrid’s Association - SWA) our next meeting is tonight (Wednesday 14th November) at 7.30pm at the Community Centre at St Wilfrid’s Church. The meeting is just for an hour and we need as much help as possible to run fundraising events. All the money raised from the events goes back to the school to be spent on resources for the children (...this year we’ve managed to buy new class lap tops with the money raised.)
