Streetlife Middlesbrough Description

StreetLife is a Big Lottery funded Rathbone project, which helps help young people, aged 14-19, access employment, education or training.

StreetLife is able to offer:
* General information, advice and guidance
* Basic first aid qualification
* Qualification in Peer Mentoring - improve your own skills and help another young person.
* Youth Forums - take part in monthly youth forums to discuss any related issues and give young people a voice within the local community.

The activities offered include:

* Kickboxing sessions
* Arts and craft workshops
* Music production workshops
* Football tournaments
* Residentials
* Bowling
- and lots more…

Volunteers and young advisers are offered the chance to help run the project. You can also help to organise the football tournaments or if you’ve got an idea for your own event, discuss it in the youth forum and perhaps that will be the next project.

Rathbone will pay you back your expenses and 14-19 year olds get their lunch paid for on free trips.

Email or ring us to volunteer or for more information: richard. tomlinson@rathboneuk.org – telephone 0758 777 1962.
