Well what a success tonight our 1st grill night thank you to everyone that made it happen we will continue to do grill night every Tuesday but booking would be recommended to avoid disappointment 👍

Starting Tuesday 10th July. GRILL NIGHT. Beautiful stakes cooked to your liking with all the trimmings. 16oz T.bone for 2 £32. 10oz Sirloin for 2 £26. 10oz rump for 2 £22. 10oz Gammon for 2 £20. Or 8oz Chicken for 2 £16. All cooked over charcoal and finished on the griddle to your liking. Book your table to avoid disappointment.

THURSDAY CURRY NIGHT. Come and join us for a selection of Homemade Authentic curries and sides from around the world. This weeks choices are:Mild: Classic Chicken Korma, say no more. Med: Lamb Tawa, a savoury Indian Classic. Hot: Beef Rendaug, if you like a HOT one this Indonesian Curry is for you. Or why not try... a taster of each? All served with sides of Bombay potatoes & Mushroom Bhaji, with Basmati rice ( or chips ) & a starter of Pompadom & Pickles. Vegetarian options available. Visiting Masham with friends for the weekend. Absolutely cracking pub. We were looked after by the fantastic Steph who made us very welcome. Absolutely AWESOME food. Enjoyed it so much that we had to go back for lunch the next day. Keep up the good work Brian and Jean (and Sasha)

The best pub for miles around, by miles! From the welcome to the beer to the excellent tasting food. Bri and Jean have everything sewn up here. Will be back at the earliest opportunity!

Popped in briefly last week for a pint, wasn’t busy but it was odd time.. very welcoming and wil pop back to try the food. Very good pint btw and I’m fussy. Xx

Just had a weekend in Masham, we loved this pub so much we didn't even try any others, ourselves and our 2 dogs were made to feel so welcome, we had the fish and chips on Friday, fish was huge and delicious, the chips were by far the best we've ever had. Popped in a few times over the rest of the weekend and had Sunday lunch, lovely.

Thanks to the whole team for making our weekend a great one.

Had an impromptu night here, after tying online for a week or so to find somewhere to stay after a planned brewery tour. We took a chance and rang up on the day of arrival and were delighted to hear they had rooms free. We were welcomed so warmly; Brian, Jean and their staff team could not have been more helpful. After our day out we returned for an evening meal which was delicious and a very generous portion size! Our bed was super comfy and our room and bathroom immaculately clean. Will certainly visit again, thanks for looking after us xxxx

Fantastic overnight stay at The Bruce Arms, a warm welcome awaited us from the Landlord & Landlady, their dog Sasha, staff & locals. The food was delicious, all locally sourced and prepared/cooked from fresh. Our room was very cosy and warm and Bry’s big breakfast set us up for the day ahead. Thank you again for your hospitality & we’ll see you all again soon.

Fabulous place, warm welcome of both staff, locals and Sasha the dog. Top draw food which is all locally sourced, great choice of beer well kept by the land lord and fantasticlly comfortble rooms topped of with a cracking breakfast.

Brilliant pub, friendly dogs aren't just welcome, they are encouraged. Jean and Bri even sorted us with an early breakfast as we had to leave our cottage early with nowhere to get breakfast. see you soon :)
