Welcome to The Karate Dojo Ripon, home of Byakko Shotokan Karate Association (BSKA)
We offer progressive karate training, based on constant improvement and refinement, comparable to the best available training in the UK. The Karate Dojo - Ripon routinely holds courses with some of the worldβs top instructors for the benefit of all its members. The The karate dojo winner of the Kick picture competition, decided by Sensei John Gardiner from JKG karate is:

BSKA Dojos -The Karate Dojo Group and JKG Karate will be working together to bring you a weekly competition.
There will be a winner from both The Karate Dojo group and JKG Karate, these winners will receive a prize when we return to normal training.
... This week's competition is as follows:
Send us your best kick picture in your karate gi, Sensei Ady Gray will pick the winning picture from JKG Karate and Sensei John Gardiner will pick the winner from The Karate Dojo group.
The winners will be announced on Friday 27th March.

Please follow government advice and if you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 please do not attend classes
At The Dojo:
... Wash hands thoroughly before and after training and as usual, please ensure short clean finger nails and toenails. We will not be using equipment for training and will train in Kihon and Kata. No partner work or contact work.
We will continue keep our members informed of any development or changes.
