We already have a small following of discerning diners who return time and time again.
Private dining is available, as the restaurant is a comfortable size (seating up to 26) you can celebrate in private if you wish. Please telephone us to discuss your requirements.
For functions and parties we have a marquee for hire, perfect if you are planning a larger function /celebration.

really nice place called in for a drink ended up having a meal will definitely come back again when hungrier staff were great very friendly and helpful
Wow! Hubby and I decided to eat here at short notice. Staff were very welcoming and service was excellent. The food was fantastic, especially the Hake - cooked to perfection! Thank you. We will definitely be back. �
Wonderful dinner last night , we have only ever visited when out on our tandem and stopped for coffee and cake , we decided to visit for dinner and wasn't disappointed, great food and service ,the staff very friendly even showed us around the rooms they look fantastic might even have an over night stay and treat ourselves .
Well what can I say first visit well impressed would recommend this to anyone who fancy change from the normal pubs .
I personally had steak and cooked to perfection .
What can I say to you in desert myself and friend had the shared pudding it spot on Carmel ice cream and profiteroles and creme brûlée ans chocolate cheeses cake . But complement to the person who make the fudge that was also on the platter .
Best fudge I tasted in long time thank you for putting some in bag for me to take home .
You should sell this in the shop excellent . Myself and two friend give you the five stars 😄
We recently stayed at the Peppered Pig on their Summer offer deal and it was honestly worth every penny. The room (The Old Spot) was stunning and spotlessly clean. Our evening meal was amazing the portion sizes and quality was great. The same goes for the breakfast the morning after. It wasn't too busy when we stayed so it was almost like we had the place exclusively and all the staff were so attentive. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be returning as it's a perfect weekend break!
We had gone for a bank holiday Monday drive looking to eat somewhere in the countryside. Stumbled across this place and we were truly delighted with our delicious meal in a quiet county setting. All staff were very friendly. The owner showed us around a few of the rooms after dinner which are beautifully decorated to a very high standard. We will definitely be retuning & booking a room for a relaxing break. 5* plus �
We had an overnight stay here on Friday, the welcome we received was warm and friendly. The room was amazing and finished to a very high standard. The evening meal we had was out of this world, the best steak we have ever had, and the service just as good. We enjoyed our stay so much that before we left we booked to return.
We decided on impulse to Visit for breakfast one Saturday morning. The menu is served until 11.30am, meaning you don't have to rush!
The setting is fantastic.
The food was excellent and the service was attentive but not obtrusive.
The smoked salmon was delicious and my husbands American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup really hit the spot.
We will definitely be back, probably to try your steak offer but soon for breakfast again.
Visited for the first time today to celebrate Father’s Day, can honestly say we will be returning.

Just had a fantastic overnight stay at The Peppered Pig (Pig Inn) with the Spring Offer which represents excellent value for money. We really couldn't fault it and were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. Lovely friendly, polite and helpful staff, attentive without being intrusive. Fabulous food and luxurious rooms. Weather was a bonus as we spent most of time outdoors in the sunshine. We'll definitely be back �
It was our first visit and it was out of the blue. We fancied a change from our usual venue. On first entering the building we were impressed with the decor and layout. The staff were welcoming and friendly. It was late afternoon so we chose our meal from the lunchtime menu. Not being very adventurous people when it comes to food we opted for the chicken Kiev. What a great choice it turned out to be. It was cooked to perfection. It was made with actual chicken and not reconstituted meat like many places serve. It was served with French Peas which was a dish new to us. I could go on and on but don't take my word for it go there and treat yourself.
Had afternoon tea in Lola was amazing I am mad on vwcampervan the service was excellent could not do enough and very friendly the afternoon tea was brilliant two and because we don’t drink we did get the chance to have a soft drink instead off the wine on offer would definitely revisit to try the food in the pub it looked lovely thanks again
Had afternoon tea here today as a birthday treat and it was lovely , really nice afternoon from start to finish � have recommended to all my friends
After communicating with Glen via email, who went out of his way to help make my boyfriends 40th extra special, we were not disappointed and had an amazing experience eating afternoon tea in Lola the Campervan. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the food was excellent, very well presented. We will return again
just called in for Sunday lunch we were made welcome sat and had a coffee while our table was ready ordered the beef and the lamb absolutely amazing so tasty x great surroundings x will be taking family next time oh and the cake was delicious
Lovely evening out for a birthday treat. Great service although we found it a little confusing when told "no drama". An upmarket and pleasurable dinning experience in a stunning traditional styled rustic restaurant. Fantastic service and great food.
For us... lovely starters although wasn't a huge fan of the lettuce selection for the prawn cocktails, quite bitter. Beautiful creamy pate. Perfectly seared scallops. Followed by the fantastically valued steak for two meal. Cooked to perfection. Lovely belly pork however skin could have been crisper. Desserts, deliciously yummy cheesecake & great coffee. Cheese board could have done with more than one type of cracker and more fruit for the price. Delicious cheeses though. Knicker-bocker-glory ... sorry guys, it was not! It was all ice cream, no sign of cream or fruit. Had we known we would not have ordered. Basically three scoops of average ice cream for near on £8.
Would we come again, if you'd have us, yes! Still a lovely night out :)
Lovely building and restaurant had breakfast mushrooms very dry and all of it was like warm .... please improve your coffee I will come down and show your team how to make it properly my flat white was an Americano
Unfortunately we left disappointed yesterday for our birthday meal.
The order came wrong to start with, then my mum's fish & chips were not nice. The batter was wet and cakie. The second one came back the same!
We ordered drinks with the meal, which we waited ages for and I had to go look for someone to order them from. We had said we would have drinks with the meal.
We were brought pudding menus and they didn't come back to take the order.
The creme brulee was tasteless and the chocolate fondant was bordering on over cooked.
The lady out front never smiled once and looked like she didn't want to be there.
I am afraid we would not rush back. After been lots of times before. This visit was not the best experience. �
I was looking forward to returning to peppered pig as our previous experience was so lovely. Unfortunately this time was not so lovely, rather dreadful, sent food back 3 times for being cold, dry and after all that and changing to another dish I then found a long black hair which completely put me off eating! So very disappointing!
