A small tranquil campsite in a beautiful rural setting in the heart of the North York moors National Park. It is a 15 minute walk along the old railway line public footpath to the famous village of Goathland, the setting of ITV's Heartbeat.

Thornhill Farm is a great place to stay to take part in the Railway in Wartime weekend. Watch the trains from the Train Field or walk 5 mins to the station in Goathland. Space for two more caravans and tents. Book now to join us for the weekend 11th - 13th October 2013.

The Steam trains go through one of our fields which you are welcome to walk to, sit in and watch them go back and forth all day if you like. Less than five min walk from your caravan or tent :-)
