User

User

Some great walks from site, plenty of places to visit in the local area and to top it off the weather was gorgeous.

User

Our second stay here this year.

Peace an quiet, always clean and tidy.

Will be back again next year after the refurbishment!

User

Lovely site with good walks and love the upgraded shower block.

Shame about the hedge clearance, we preferred it as it was before - unless you at the edge there is no privacy - we were lucky.

User

Lovely site which has had the toilet block totally updated. This is the standard all cmc sites should strive for.

New drive over drain for motorhomes which is most welcome.

Pub close by and Grassington a lovely half hour walk.

As a regular visitor I find the staff always pleasant.

Will be back again.

User

Lovely site have been here for the 2nd time new shower blocks are great, friendly wardens and very helpful, will definitely be coming back

User

Lovely clean site & very quiet. Approach is easy but roads are narrow with lots on HGV's to/from the nearby quarry. But it really is a gorgeous site

User

Love this site , but one thing I do not agree with is leaving dogs alone in vans in this wether you should be ashamed of your self its wrong poor dogs you no who you are

I didn't see it before the refurb. The place is great. Looks like and feels like lots of other sites which is what we buy into. Yes we do. Location is great for walks and cycling as well as a great base for sight seeing. Quiet? Yup. No road noise at all. Rained nearly the whole time we we're here but no issues on site.

Wardens were fine but we usually only see them at book in.

Toilet block is cleaned at pretty much the same time as most of the other CMC sites we've been to and there is a 'service loo' as well for 'emergencies'.

A family wash room is also available for bods with 'active' kids ;-)

The rest of the facilities are as per what you'd expect.

It's a nice place. Visit it.

User

Great site, very secluded, but 10 minutes by car to Grassington or a nice country walk of 30 minutes to Grassington. There's a Pub just ten minutes walk away.

Very clean and modern site. On a slight incline so make sure you bring levelling blocks. We will definitely be back again.

User

Great site, lovely walks round about and very dog friendly. Come every year and always look forward to it. Staff at this site are very helpful and friendly. Love the new facilities (toilet and shower block)

User

Brilliant site..great walks..Grassington easy to walk too..will definitely return

User

Amazing! Lovely views and on the doorstep of some of the best dog walks in the UK. Lovely clean site with friendly and helpful wardens.

User

A lovely site, with plenty of good walking around and the beautiful village of Grassington near by.

User

Our favourite site. Plenty of walks from the site, pub on site but more of a bistro type now which is a pity, not as welcoming as it used to be! The site is kept clean and tidy by great wardens (site is getting an upgrade this winter).Lovely and peaceful, except when you get 4 yappy dogs next door to your caravan! Plenty of wildlife, rabbits, roe deer, all sorts of birds, grey squirrels and lay in bed at night listening to the tawny owls calling - bliss!

User

Good experience even in extreme weather!! Thanks Ophelia. First time here and enjoyed it. Thanks to warden for loan of a dog lead - we’d forgotten ours. Nice to be able to access the facilities of site (long ashes park)next door too. Will visit again.

User

Site refurb is good, toilet block nice and new. Shame they took out all the bushes, it’s now very open without much privacy. Was a approached by one of the wardens!!! “The grumpy one” for walking my dog in the long wet grass “not on the dog walk” trying to clean her paws after being on a muddy walk. Can’t believe that still don’t have a dog wash in walking country.. The men’s showers shut at 10:15 am so not much chance of a lazy morning.

User

Love the new refurbished.....But .....and a big but who fit the mirror in the ladies near the hair dryers ......as they are far to high and I can't see to dry my hair ....and not all me all the ladies were saying the same please could they be changed.....as my husband said they have a full length near the hair dryer .....
