Thank you to all for making our last Whitby 60s festival of 2018 a great one. We had some fantastic performances over the 3 days from some truly great acts that we have worked with for many years.
Not long to wait until we do it all again, this time at the Prince of Wales hotel in Southport on the 19th, 20th, & 21st of October.

Update: Due to illness the Kast Off Kinks will now not be appearing on Friday night at Whitby, but don't worry, we have got The Swinging Blue Jeans coming instead. :)

It is with great sadness that We need to let everyone know that PETER, the dearly loved husband of CATH, has passed away.
We are all heartbroken.
Chris and Christine, along with all the family and friends are devastated by this tragic loss. We are all in Shock.
... Peter was loved and respected by everyone in the music, art and poetry world. Peter leaves us with wonderful memories.
Our main concern now is Cathy’s well being and all her nearest and dearest are here to take care of her.
Thanks to everyone for being so supportive with your lovely messages. Cathy is so very grateful.

Wow! Just back from Whitby 60s weekender... Jane and I were newbies... she came all the way from New York to attend. Loved it, well done to the team. Such a friendly atmosphere. Lots of dancing and meeting some lovely people in absolutely stunning setting... �

The best shows and great people. Lively atmosphere.

Syl (my wife) and I, have attended most of the 60's music artists, such as Paul Mcartney, The Who, Bob Dylan, Seekers etc,-etc,, however, this is different, This is a themed 60's bash over 3 days, It will transport you back to the music of the sixties, We are reminiscing with the best bands around who deliver live music of the highest order. Since we came upon these fantastic shindigs back in 2012 we go to at least two a year, Not forgetting that all the bands perform at the hotel included in the package so you don't have to leave the hotel if you don't want to, If you are thinking about it, JUST BOOK IT, and you will realize why I am salivating over these weekends. BTW, when a 60;s DJ (Chris Wood) is organizing the whole thing (and not the hotel), then he knows what bands are at the top of their game, and which ones should be left in the sixties, lol,

Not been to the last few due to personal and work commitments. Have really missed the weekends music and friends. Will be at both Whitby Shows this year all being well. I have lost count of the shows I have been to over the years and I have never been disappointed. It's like visiting family you've not seen for a while.

Chris and the gang have always produced the goods.

Can't wait for Whitby. X

During my time playing drums with The Stones, it was a pleasure to play these gigs and make many friends, both bands and punters. I'll miss it!
