Wren'S Nest Holiday Cottage Description
Wren's Nest is an 18th century one bedroom holiday cottage located on the High Street of Guisborough, North Yorkshire; moments away from plenty of shops, lovely restaurants and friendly pubs.
The cottage is decorated to the highest standard and features an inglenook fireplace fitted with a multi fuel stove in the lounge area. We also have a comfortable sofa bed should you require space for extra guests. The kitchen is modern and well appointed for all of your culinary needs. The tasteful bedroom offers a king size bed and plenty of storage space for you to unpack. The spacious bathroom features Georgian style panelling and free stand in bath.
There is a secure south facing yard, ideal for your doggy to stretch its legs. It has a bistro set so can enjoy all fresco meals if the weather is good! There are two lockable outbuildings which are ideal to store your bikes and other items.
Guisborough is situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. The cottage is ten minute walk from the Cleveland Hills and a ten minute drive from the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast.
We welcome well behaved dogs and conscientious pet owners and we are able to discuss your requirements as necessary. We provide throws and a welcome treat for your furry family members. We do not charge extra for dogs to stay at Wren's Nest. We would love you to contribute pics of your dogs to our FB page!

Nestled in a market town at the foot of the North York Moors, Winterwood Cottage is the ideal bolthole to explore the local hills, coast and Moors. This peaceful cottage is based just off one of the most characterful and historic roads in Guisborough, Belmangate. The cottage itself is believed to have been on old miners cottage dating back to approximately 188...0. It is only five minutes walk to Guisborough’s High Street with it’s three times weekly market, it’s many independent shops and lovely pubs and restaurants, not to mention the super friendly locals. The hills and forest, and access to the Cleveland Way, are also only five minutes walk from the front door!
This two bedroom, with an additional converted loft space, has just been beautifully renovated. Entrance via the utility/ boot room gives you the ideal place to kick off muddy boots and hang up the dogs lead before entering into the surprisingly large, and beautiful modern country kitchen. A dining area provides the opportunity to avoid TV dinners! The lounge is comfy and cosy, with a lovely feature pot bellied stove.
The calming main bedroom has a king size bed, a feature fireplace and a view of the hills and garden. The second bedroom has a lovely daybed that can be used as a single bed or pulled out into a comfy super king size bed! The cottage sleeps 4 people. The Victorian style bathroom has been finished to a high standard with decorative wall panelling and an elegant bath and shower.
The property benefits from a terrace garden with a low fence around it, ideal for small dogs or those who have no desire to escape! The cottage has parking in the alley to the rear and a parking permit can be provided for Belmangate.
