What a lovely gem of a cottage ! All the mod cons you need with lots of lovely extras, you can tell that lots of thought has gone in to providing people with a very comfortable stay. The view from the living room window is amazing and you are only a few yards from Settle town centre x We had a fab time Thank you Charlotte and Luke can't wait to go again xx

What a dilemma! I want to leave a review for a fantastic holiday cottage which is in a brilliant location, in a beautiful part of the country, but if I share this with everyone, then making a return booking will be much more difficult.

Dilemma over I need to share how good it is !!!

The high quality of the furnishing and decoration sets the cottage apart from other holiday let’s and makes it a real home from home. The thought put into the extras including a great selection of books, dvds, games, magazines, the welcome pack, the tea & coffee, the milk, the dog treats, the perfumed soap, the wi-fi ........the list goes on !

The cottage was spotless when we arrived, giving you that feeling of being the first to stay there.

The idea of putting the Lounge on the first floor so that you can admire the fantastic Yorkshire Dales views was brilliant!

The towels & bedding provided is of the highest quality.

As you walk out of the quiet location and turn left, within 30 metres you’re in the vibrant centre of Settle. Make sure you sample the food at the Golden Lion it’s outstanding. The Settle pudding was superb & very filling. Indian take away from Ruchee was first class and the home baking from Ye Ild Naked Man Cafe was delicious.

To work all those calories off we walked out of town up High Hill Lane, did a circular 8 mile walk to Knights Stainforth via the old quarry, did the Settle Carlisle railway trip & Malham cove.

A fantastic Monday to Friday break & we can’t wait to go back.

Very good place

This cottage is beautifully done out to a very high standard. Everything has been thought out so well from the decor to the functionalities. There is even a boot cleaning tool outside the door for after you’ve been walking!



The beds and sofas are as comfy as I imagine clouds to be! The shower is brilliant. The kitchen is well equipped.



As we arrived we were welcomed with milk, wine and a hamper full of biscuits and chocolates which was a wonderful surprise. I had brought my own tea, coffee and washing up liquid but it was all provided in the cottage.



There is plenty of parking and it is literally a 1 minute walk into Settle. We met the adjacent neighbor who is a lovely lady.



The owners were great with booking. They are very organised and the welcome folder in the lounge is excellent with their own personal recommendations for local restaurants etc. It obviously took some time to compile.



I wish you luck with your cottage and I will not hesitate to book again in the future and recommend to my family and friends.

The cottage is amazing it really is a home from home. Everything you need is supplied, from tea and coffee to washing up liquid so no need to run to the shop for those annoying little bits and pieces.

The welcome basket is super with wine and chocolates and treats for your dog too. The view from the living room is so beautiful, the sofas are comfy and throws are provided for your dog along with games etc to keep the humans amused.

The beds are super comfy and we all slept like babies.

The bath is a real treat as it’s much bigger and deeper than your standard bath. The shower is also amazing with the choice of the rain fall shower.

Everything is top spec and real thought has been put into renovating the cottage to ensure maximum space and comfort.

There’s a lovely little area to sit in and enjoy the sun outside.



Settle itself is fantastic, lots to do and see no matter your preferences and the town centre is right on your door step and very dog friendly. We especially liked the steak restaurant near the coop and bar 13 in the evenings.



We’ve paid double the price for a cottage before and have got to say that roundabout cottage topped it no problem.

Just returned from a weekend in Settle staying at Roundabout Cottage.



It is a lovely cottage with everything you need for a self catering get away, including a lovely welcome hamper on arrival with wine, biscuits, chocolates and treats for the dog.



The cottage is a minutes walk into the town centre and has lovely views from the big bay window in the living room. The shower was powerful and the beds really comfortable even for 8.5 months pregnant.



Will definitely be booking to visit again as there is a lot in the surrounding area that we would like to visit.

I visited Roundabout Cottage from 9th to 13th July with had a lovely holiday. The cottage is quirky and very cosy and the owners really have thought of everything. It was spotless on arrival and the welcome basket was a lovely surprise.



The living room is on the first floor which was lovely as it has a bay window with some wonderful views. There was a small outside area with a picnic table and bench, which had sunshine almost all day so that was lovely to sit outside, as it was really peaceful too. The bed was so comfy, I even overslept a couple of mornings which was very unlike me!



The cottage is next to a little one way road (which is seldom used) and if you walk up it you are in Settle town centre so it was lovely to just be a couple of minutes walk away from all the lovely shops and cafes. The location is perfect. We also had some lovely days out and the neighbouring villages are really beautiful too.



I didn't bring my dog on holiday with me this time, but the cottage is dog friendly and all of the cafes and restaurants we visited in settle (and even some of the shops) were dog friendly so I will certainly be bringing him along next time we book.



I would highly recommend Roundabout Cottage for a lovely holiday!
