1St Annaghmore Boys Brigade

The boys had a great night @MandW Farm Meats making sausages as is it National Sausage week. Thanks to Clayton Issac Connor and William who took the time to show the boys how sausages are made. We all know what the parents are having for tea tomorrow.

The Portadown Battalion Company Section 14 and Under 5-A-Side Football competition will be held tonight, Friday 25 October 2019, at 7.30pm in Annaghmore Parish Centre. Boys from Annaghmore Company who are 14 years and under are to meet at the Parish Centre at 7.00pm.

BB Breakfast is back Sunday 17th November Please support your local Boy's Brigade in our annual fundraiser. Adults £6.50 child £3.50 ( up to age 11). Starts from 9am. Happy birthday BB🎂🎈 Today the Boys Brigade celebrated its 136th anniversary, having begun in Glasgow on 4 October 1883. The boys enjoyed birthday cake tonight 🍰

Our theme this year is prayer. Boys learnt they can pray any time any place any where. We our putting together a prayer journal that the boys can take home at the end of the year. Well done boys on your brilliant artwork 👏👏👏

Great morning for the battalion cross country in Loughgall country park. Well done to Kenzie who came 2nd in p5 and Jack who came 2nd in 15 and under and the junior section team came 3rd overall.
Also the company Section took part in the battalion tug o war competition last night and the 15 and under team came 2nd.

Anchor boy outreach tonight. Thank you to the companies who attended. The boys learnt about faith and although you may not see it. Faith can be shown in many ways. Thank you too to our Minster Dorthy who shared the Mr Men story with the boys. All about the different Mr Men who thought they were good. But Mr Sinner new he had to ask for forgiveness and put his faith in Jesus. Lots of fun fellowship and cheers.

P6 and 7 had a great time up the mournes this weekend.

Our Anchor boys this year donated towels to help the homeless in local communities. Rev Pete Smith so extremely happy with the donation he even had to drop his back seats to fit all the towels in his car lol. Thank you so much to everyone who donated. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas...
