We are 817 (Lisburn) Squadron, the Lisburn branch of the RAF Air Cadets! Welcome to our public facebook page. We are a bunch of like-minded individuals with a keen interest in the Royal Air Force, uniform, discipline and young people. We love seeing young people grab all opportunities they can to do something different!

We recruit all year round so come on ahead. Cadets must be 12 years old AND in year 9 at a minimum up to the age of 17. 5 years to join. For adult volunteers, you can come and join us from the age of 20.

Please note our staff are uniformed volunteers that run our squadron, activities AND also this page in their own free time, we do all have full time roles as well, so please allow a reasonable amount of time for us to get back to you - we check the page regularly and do update everyone as soon as we can!
