We are a family from Northern Ireland. We have managed our own company for the past 20 years. Lately we had felt the need to upgrade our security. After going through all the usual security systems-gates, alarms and cameras etc, we still did not feel safe in our own home and business. Three years ago my wife and I decided to go down the route of a Personal Protection Dog but we had many concerns and worries so we decided not to rush into it and we began to research various 'so called' Protection dog companies that where available in the UK and Europe. We even flew across to several businesses to try and help with this decision and to find the perfect company to supply our family with a dog that would not only provide impeccable security but most importantly be a very well mannered and trained family pet that would integrate with our children, our other animals and our Workforce /Business clients. What we ended up finding was a world of 'semi professional' businesses trying to sell us half trained, scrap yard dogs which in no way where family protection dogs! ! There was no way my wife or I were going to bring home these 'walls of teeth' to meet our children or family! We reached a point that we were about to give up on the idea of having a Personal Protection dog until we came across A1K9. After speaking to Mr Charles Wall he persuaded us to come across and see the difference with his dogs. We jumped on a plane and headed to Swansea and immediately when we arrived we knew we were in a very professional place. After meeting Charles and his team and voicing needs and concerns, we were shown a selection of dogs that they felt would meet our requirements because as Charles said 'you cannot fit a square peg into a round hole' and this is why Charles keeps over 40 dogs to meet the needs and requirements of different clients worldwide. The choice was fantastic and every dog was amazing and no other company in Europe can provide this! We narrowed our selection down to 3 dogs that we fell in love with and finally Danny a 3 year old, Dark sable, Czech working dog became the new addition to our family. Since Danny has came to our home, he has been a dream to watch working along with our children and most importantly doing his job in keeping us feeling safe. After working with Danny and getting to know more about A1K9 and what they do, we just knew that we wanted to become part of such a professional organisation. After many amazing visits and late night discussions with Charles I really felt I wanted to become part of the A1K9 family and bring their professional brand to Northern Ireland. This was to take the '2 year burden' of researching and choosing a family protection dog from clients in Ireland (North and South) as we believe A1K9 is the ultimate in family and personal protection dogs. We now have trained executive level A1K9's available here in Northern Ireland and have access to all of A1K9's dogs if required by clients. These dogs live in our home and integrate with our family on a daily basis. We can also demonstrate their abilities and advise you in making your selection of your perfect A1K9.
