Amy volunteered at several of the concerts in Belfast this summer as part of our #dontlosethemusic campaign.
She said: ŌĆ£Volunteering improved my confidence and communication skills as I was talking to the public and giving out earplugs. I also worked with other volunteers to collect donations and give away ponchos. I definitely think volunteering was good work experience and a lot of funŌĆØ.

Following John Dallat MLA's comments about audiology waiting lists in the Northern Trust, the Belfast Telegraph would like to speak to someone who has been waiting a long time. If you would be happy to talk about your experience, please contact Rebekah McKinstry - email rebekah.mckinstry@hearingloss.org.uk or call 028 9555 4129.

We had several people attend our #tinnitus course in Belfast this morning learning about the causes of tinnitus and how to manage it.
The morning was also a good opportunity for people to share their experiences of tinnitus.

Thanks to @alzheimerssoc for getting a photo with our hearing aid bear Francis!
There is a clear link between hearing loss and dementia, with evidence suggesting that hearing loss can increase the risk of dementia by up to five times.
