Thanks to John and Karen for giving so many children and their teachers a gift that can be opened time and time again!

Alain's 95km journey from Ifanadiana to remote Ambolomadinika for his quarterly meetings is made easier thanks to his new bike shipped from Belfast as part of the Adsum Bike Aid Madagascar Project. Alain is a community outreach worker with Ny Tanintsika

The children are Zoma Primary School have really embraced the Kitchen Garden aspect of the Education for Life Programme. The pupils love gardening and rush out each break time to water the growing fruit and veg! The produce is then used for school meals, prepared by their parents.
It's great to be able to deliver this project alongside our partners Money for Madagascar.

Anyone recognise this bike?
This donated bike from NI will be used by Jean Robert from Anorombato to assist with his work promoting the building and use of toilets in Madagascar. He uses his bike to attend meetings in Manakara and to provide for his family.

Making handwashing a habit
Children are less likely to experience hygiene-related diseases if their school has adequate sanitation and safe drinking water. Their families are also less likely to get sick when the children are healthy.
With our partners, Ny Tanintsika and Money for Madagascar, pupils at all Adsum schools are encouraged to make handwashing a part of the school routine.
... The promotion of good hygiene practices not only reduces absenteeism but can also initiate behaviour changes that last a lifetime.
If you'd like to help us reach more children then please consider donating to Adsum. See link in comments below. 100% of your donation goes to the project in Madagascar.

Our school maintenance programme is in full swing which means we're receiving lots of feedback from teachers, parents and pupils at our 40+ schools in Madagascar. This invaluable feedback helps improve our educational projects and identify further projects.
Introducing Benja, a pupil at Mangarano Primary School who says he is proud to be a student at one of the best schools in Itasy Region. Benja says he loves Mangarano Primary because it's green all around the school, there...'s lots of space to think and to play with his friends. He really appreciates the school canteen and hopes that it never stops. Wishing Benja and his classmates good luck for the state exam this year!
BIG THANKS to all our wonderful fundraisers and donors who support our school projects. To educate a child is to turn walls into doors!

Not only did Ireland’s leading bathroom supplier, Bath Shack surpass their fundraising target, but they also raised awareness of the issues regarding sanitation in Madagascar.

Thumbs up for the #Text4Toilets Campaign!
Last November, to celebrate #WorldToiletDay we ran a fundraising campaign for sanitation facilities at Analavory Primary School. See the fruits of the campaign below 👇 😊 Thanks so much to everyone who donated. The boys' smiles demonstrate just how thankful the pupils are for their new toilets.
... Did you know: Madagascar is ranked 2nd worst country in the world for addressing open defecation. Campaigns like this, supported by you, can make a real difference.

On 27th April hundreds of bikes were donated from across Ireland to our Adsum Bike Aid Madagascar Campaign. This would not have been possible without the drive, determination and good will of the following amazing people who organised the collection days:
Cork: Paul McCarthy, Dean and Glen. Supported by the Window Group, their family and friends Armagh: Réamonn Ó Ciaráin, Stevey McGeown. Assisted by Alana, Nicole, Seanie and Tommy.... Lurgan / Craigavon / Portadown: Vinty Firth and James McGrath
