Very sad to hear of the passing of Charles Poliquin at 57.
I actually hope it's a hoax.
This was one of the first guys I really properly respected in the industry way back when I started.
... I wasn't really the type to be blown away by someone's 'guns' or 'pecs'...Yea that stuff was cool but what blew me away was this guys incredible knowledge and passion for health and fitness.
His brain was simply amazing and I remember a podcast were he shared a story about growing up poor and learning another language through reading comics being bought by his parents.
This lead to him developing his skills in other languages to the point that he was able to research literature from many different languages to stand out in the industry and be ahead of the game.
Not everyone agrees with what he says but you can't argue with his track record. The proof is in the pudding and he was way ahead of his time in many aspects.
In my opinion it is a big loss to the industry and my thoughts go out to his family.

We are creatures of habit...
But are your habits currently getting you to where you want to be?
All too often I hear from people that want to change the way they look or feel about themselves.

Its not about making wholesale changes across the board.

I was dubious about starting a new gym but the minute I started training with Allan he made me feel comfortable and after my first session I knew I had no need to worry. Allan is always professional, has my sessions planned out and always pushes me to do things I never thought I could do. I come out of Allans sessions knowing I have done the best workout I could have done. Every session is different so I'm always learning new techniques and he talks you through what muscles you are working etc. I have started Saturday morning bootcamps too which are fantastic! Looking forward to seeing what results we are going to achieve :) Allan is also accommodating with times. I can only do early mornings so he books me in for 6am sessions which are perfect!

Allan takes the class I go he’s a brilliant Personnal trainer and makes you feel so welcome,all the equipment is up to date and new, I have joined different gyms in the past but I would say this is one I’m going to stick with defo recommend it.

Just finished the 4 week babies and barbells class with Allan and I'm delighted with the results! Allan really knows his stuff in terms of postnatal fitness and reintroducing exercise safely back into your routine. He also did a good job of keeping the babies entertained when they were getting a bit cranky � also NO BURPEES!!!
