Welcoming staff who look after their customers well, lovely Italian food with a varied menu and relaxing atmosphere. Service was great as well! A real gem on the Ormeau Road and will be back!

We are regular visitors to Ambrosia, a family of 5. We always feel we are on holidays when we go in as it’s authentic Italian food and great service and we always know they want us to love what we eat. I would never eat pasta out at a restaurant at home but my goodness every pasta dish is delicious. Their pizzas are best on the Ormeau road and their house wines & desserts are just perfect. Even their gorgeous house avocado & beetroot salad is just yum with a pizza. It’s a pleasure.

Was there for lunch on Tuesday and loved it, food beautiful and girl that served us is a credit to the restaurant (maybe American/canadian sounding) nothing was too much hassle & £5 lunch deal even better.

Used a Groupon here last weekened. The pasta was v v nice. Will def go back.

This was my second visit here and I can honestly say the food was amazing on both occassions. Staff are very welcomng and friendly. I would definitely recommend Ambrosia to everyone.

Me and my family had a meal here this week and have to say the food was amazing and the service that we received was very professional and they made us feel very welcome. The decor had such a traditional Italian feel which added to the whole experience. Oh and the wine was beautiful. Would definitely recommend the Ambrosia Ristorante to anyone, you won't be disappointed, hope to see you very soon ☺

Just had a fabulous dinner there. The food, the service, the atmosphere were all wonderful. We actually live in Finaghy and are here on the Ormeau while our house is having work done but my husband and I are already talking about the easiest way to get back in the future!!!

I live locally but only just made it into Ambrosia for the first time this evening. I had pizza and my partner had the steak. Both were absolutely exquisite! Our server, Steph was lovely and super friendly. We will def be back! Best pizza on the Ormeau!

I have now eaten here 3 times. Twice at night and once for lunch and would recommend it to anybody and everybody who enjoys Italian food. You won't be disappointed.

Have eaten at this warm homely restaurant on several occasions recently and it is by far my favourite. The food is excellent and it comes well presented. The service is also excellent and delivered by amiable experienced staff. I highly recommend this Italian culinary experience.

Great authentic Italian food and amazing value! Pizza and fries are to die for. Very cheap lunch time deal so if you're near definitely try this place. Hidden gem!

Have eaten here both sit in and take away and have to say the food was great either way. The waitress who looked after us was very friendly and helpful. Prices are good too. The only reason for taking a star away is we were there on a winters evening and their heating needs to be upgraded as it was very cold. Otherwise first class and will definitely be back.

Served cold food, chef didn't look too amused at it being sent back. Only good thing was the cocktails made by a nice waitress.

I had been before and loved it but after today I won't be back. Me and my friend opted for the two course for 12.95. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese which was bland and tasteless so much so that I didn't eat it. When the waiter came over and asked was it ok my friend told him I couldn't eat it as it was bland. The waiter just shrugged his shoulders. Then when we paid we were charged 27.90 surely it should have been 25.90. I'll never be back.

Didn't have what I ordered and only told me about it 20 mins later so had to wait 40 mins for food on a quiet night. Seasonal veg was mushrooms, white onions and what looked like jarred red peppers, all smothered in oil. Customer service was lacking, they didn't even say goodbye as we went to leave. Wouldn't rush to go back
