Wonderful 2 course meal today with 3 friends. Great food and lovely staff

User

Went here for my hen party last night and couldn’t give a good enough review!! Staff were amazing, they asked us straight away if we would like a separate drinks bill or bar service as we were such a large group which suited us perfectly! They were attentive and great fun and the bar man even treated me to a complementary cocktail as I was the bride! We had to leave one of our party on her own after the meal to do an activity and staff made sure she was moved to a smaller table and got her a drink. She said they constantly came and checked on her and chatted to her while she waited for us! Absolutely above and beyond. As for the food it was first class! Unique and delicious dishes. Could not fault our first experience with ampm and will 100% be back!

User

We visited AMPM on Friday afternoon for afternoon tea with fizz for my friends hen do. The afternoon tea was amazing! Soup, sandwiches, cheese and lots of lovely cakes and scones. The staff are really friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend! X

User

We had a Brilliant time last night. Small plates cocktails and wine then ended it off by heading upstairs to watch grease with a twist. Food was amazing craic was great. We’ll deffo be back 👍

User

Sunday supperclub was amazing the man playing guitar while having dinner was amazing. Then the show with miss cherrie on top started... omg hand that man/ woman a record deal WHAT a voice. Craic was 90 didn't want the night to end. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing atmosphere just fab. Booked with Groupon voucher deal WAS well worth it will Defo be back xxx

Made last minute dinner plans with a friend who is celiac and the waiters/chefs couldn't be more accommodating. Instead of just taking away her bread with her seafood chowder (which was amazing), they had gluten free bread on hand to give with it. I ordered double duck and the waiter came out to say that the chef wasn't happy with the quality of the leg, and wanted to give me the breast instead. Nice to see they care about the individual quality instead of firing it out. :) Cooked to perfection, the potatoes were great, and the blackberry gravy was different but complimented everything really well. Well priced too. 10 quid for a main with a glass of wine. Love the decor and will be back :)

User

Five of us came by yesterday for lunch and had a lovely afternoon. I love the opulence of the decor and that oh so bohemian vibe throughout! We selected from the express lunch menu and it was perfect. I had the Cabbage and bacon dish and it did not disappoint. Hadn't time to visit the Roof top bar but definitely next time.

User

Booked afternoon tea for my mum and I and it was amazing!! The staff were so friendly, and the afternoon tea was really really good. The savoury selection was so different from the norm and full of flavour - nothing like we have had at any other afternoon tea. The sweet selection was just as good and plenty for two people. we will defo be back again soon! Thank you

User

As chief bridesmaid I was tasked with organising my best friends hen party in Belfast last weekend. As I am from Edinburgh I had a lot of research to do with not being familiar with the area. I organised the afternoon tea at AMPM with prosecco for all the ladies. From start to finish the place was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, food was amazing and the decor was beautiful and certainly lived up to its bohemian name. We even stayed after our high tea and enjoyed a few cocktails from there MASSIVE cocktail menu- which were also AMAZING! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone!

User

A fabulous venue for a birthday party. Food was amazing and staff very helpful.

User

Lovely place for couples to enjoy a quaint dining experience . 3 different members of staff attended to us ( 3rd member knew her stuff and explained menu - she had blonde hair )

Food was flawless , flavours expressed themselves and will be be back.

User

I love everything about the place, staff our great brilliant entertainment its decor is beautiful but so expensive there is alot of money added on when the bill comes and this has happened to alot of people i know so just be careful when going

User

poor welcome on arrival, we were not asked if we had any food intolerances or offered a vegetarian option in the sandwich, the cakes were good and the venue was lovely

User

I booked for my partners birthday dinner and I was very disappointed. When we arrived there was confusion over my booking (made a week in advance) and after that I felt we were thrown to any table (the worst and tiniest there) and constantly had members of staff peering over to see if we were done and ready to leave.

Felt very uneasy at this as it was suppose to be a special night out and we were made to feel rushed.

Food was okay, we had to send back some food but this was dealt with well.

User

Soooo disappointed this was my 4th afternoon tea at am:pm my lay being about 7 months ago. The quality of the food and level of service has gone drastically down. We were given one spoon for the entire service shop had to eat soup with it them wipe it to user for our raspberry moose. We had to ask for condiments which should be on the table. One of our group had to all for sugar but again no spoon! We began to wonder if there was a shortage. We were not asked if everything was ok. Desserts were served before sandwiches had been finished. With the growth in places to get beautiful afternoon teas I was totally disappointed by today's experience.

User

Really disappointed with here. A group of 7 friends had booked here last sat (19th November) for our Christmas night out. Upon arrival we were seated by our waiter who was a lovely fella. Dinner was booked for 8pm, and I think we waited an hour for our starters. We all didn't mind too much as we were having a good catch up. When that was finished we waited yet another hour for our mains. We can't complain about the food as it was lovely. Upon getting our bill we told our waiter we weren't really happy with the service, and he arranged for the manager to come and speak with us. This is when our night turned sour. The manager ( a French gentleman) first and foremost did not apologise. When we told him we waited 2 hours on our main course he simply stated "Well ladies it is a Saturday night in belfast." We eat out in belfast on a regular basis and it has never taken that long. Never mind the fact that we had pre ordered our food as it was the Xmas dinner menu. He really was not very pleasant at all and needs to be sent on a customer service course. He kept saying he would speak to his waiting staff when we really didn't have an issue with the waiter. In the end he walked away from us whilst we were speaking - totally unprofessional. We were then taken up to the supper club for the "entertainment". We were shown to a table at the very back of the room that should only hold 2 people and 7 of us were crammed around it. It felt as though we were an afterthought. We had 1 drink and left. We will not be back at all - I think you need to rethink your Christmas menu and your dining manager needs some training asap.

User

I booked a table for last Saturday for lunch, upon arrival I found the staff very abrupt. We were asked if we were here for the lunch menu or afternoon tea to which i replied 'the lunch menu'. We then got seated but overheard other customers asking about the roof terrace, to which we asked if we could go too. Once we got up we seated ourselves, waited for around 10 minutes to be told we order ourselves at bar, waited a further 10 minutes for menu. Nothing was brought so my partner got up to ask. Another 10 minutes went by until we were given 1 menu between us. My partner asked for another to which he got a blunt reply 'we dont have any more'.

We noticed there wasnt much on the menu so asked about this. We were told that if you want the full lunch menu you have to sit downstairs. This was quite annoying as the girl who had sent us upstairs knew we were here for the lunch menu since ahe had asked us upon entry. Explained we didnt know it was only light food and got seated back downstairs. A member of staff asked for our drinks, asked my partner, then before I could answer she walked off.

At this stage we were so unimpressed and perturbed. Overall the staff came across as unhelpful, unprofessional and rude.

User

Firstly for afternoon tea I expected the option of decaf coffee but no so I was given a bottle of tap water! Had to ask for sugar for my husband's tea, which was not on the table. Secondly 2 large triangles of sandwiches, egg & onion and ham, cheese and tomato were not very appetising. Small cup of soup was edible. Buns were okay. The only part of the afternoon tea we enjoyed was the gin. Was at Maryville tea rooms last Sunday and there is just no comparison!!!

Staff very friendly!

User

Second time booking the supper club and second time being ring a few hours before show was due to start to say it had been cancelled. On speaking to Emma this morning I had said was very late notice to be telling customers and not good customer service to be told "there wasn't many people booked in anyway" to which I then asked is that why it was cancelled... Maybe not enough people to cover cost... Customer service is a priory now days with so much competition. We paid £40 for the show and was offered a lunch in ampm in place, I then proceeded to tell her the £12 lunch hardly covers the £40 voucher we purchased to be told "well you may use just ur voucher another time" ... Pretty pathetic attitude and not satifactory never mind the 'fantastic customer service' this company seems to pride themselves of- even offering a bottom of champagne with lunch would have covered the £40 cost we already paid but this wasn't even an option. We booked as a birthday gift and to be let down on that day is ridiculous.

Thank you

A fabulous venue for a birthday party. Food was amazing and staff very helpful.
