Good beer, good food, good craic. Roaring fire in the winter. Air con in the summer.
Very good food. Toms trio of sausages is incredible and comes with a lovely whiskey sauce.
The service was relatively good and the music was decent. Having to go downstairs to get outside and have a smoke is a pain though.
Great meal - I had vegetarian risotto which was absolutely delicious. We also had 3 way burger which was equally well received!
Stayed overnight for our wedding anniversary. Nice room. Massive bed. Clean room. Had steak dinner and processco. Lovely! Friendly staff. Breakfast was very tasty. We had the obligatory anchor fry
I love the anchor! Between the anchor bar or aura I'm there every week. I have never left unimpressed before!
Great fun pub, very friendly, reasonably priced and good fun. Have been here a few times now whilst on holiday
