great bunch of girls and child friendly which is good to c took my 11mth with me while i got nails done which is a lenghly app and the girls were brill played and talked with him and when he got tired walked him round in circles in buggy till he fell asleep theres not many places do this places like this really do make a difference when uv got youmg children

Was my first time coming to Arlenes and was a great experience, Arlene really took the time to listen to what I wanted and didn't rush me when picking my colour, all staff were lovely, friendly and chatty. I love my new cut and colour thanks so much Arlene and Laura for my new look xx

Truly exceptional hairdressers who enjoys good craic and puts you at ease. The girls are all incredibly friendly and made the experience ace!!! Abi done a fantastic job on my upstyle and my makeup was flawless. Many thanks to all. Would highly recommend. Hope to visit again. Xx

Took my wee grandson aged 2 for his 1st haircut today. I was dreading it but from we walked in they where so friendly and max was loving the attention would thoroughly recommend Arlene she did a fantastic job.

This is such a lovely place. I've had my hair done several times and always been very happy. Got my nails don't by Kirsty 3 weeks ago and they lasted so well and they looked amazing. Got them retouched by Tanya today and they're just as fabulous. Thanks girls xxx

Omg can I just say what a lovely person Arlene is before we get to the hair. Nothing was too much for her (especially the coffee). I was scared of looking for a new hairdresser since I moved to Ballyclare but thanks to the power of Facebook and the lovely people on the fb page that recommended Arlene, I have found 'the one'. I went in with yucky hair that was flat and dry and came out with gleaming hair that feels amazing (and I don't look half bad either lol). Thanks girls. I will be back (put the kettle on!).

Meticulously completed in the salon with the usual craic and easy going flow of staff that make Arlenes Salon such a pleasure to return to! 5 out of 5 in all departments girls! Fantastic salon with a lovely, homely atmosphere. Yesterday, I braved my first visit to the hairdressers with my 5 week old little girl, can't say I wasn't apprehensive. But I needed my hair cut badly! The girls sorted me with tea and biscuits and looked after my little girl getting her to sleep while I was able to relax for a bit. That's above and beyond what anyone would expect. As for my haircut, honestly one of the best I've ever had. I went to a big salon in Newtownabbey two years ago for the same style, and Arlene did a much better job and a tenner cheaper at £20!



This was my first ever visit to Arlene's and I was made to feel like the girls had known me for years. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend the salon.
