Just a stones throw away from some of the finest restaurants and locally owned pubs with a reputation for their warm welcome and wonderful food. . . Experience some of the best golf with courses such as the Famous Royal County Down, Ardglass, Kilkeel Golf Club and many more all a short way away. . . There is also a wealth of activities and places to see for the whole family such as Dundrum Castle, Murlough Nature reserve and the blue flag Murlough Beach, horse riding and nearby Newcastle which hosts a variety of entertainment events, festivals, arts on the promenade and much more.
For those visitors wishing to walk through this lovely part of the country you can enjoy the Mourne Mountains, Tollymore and Castlewellan Forest Park, Castle Ward and Silent Valley. We are an excellent base for this and more. . ! !

Beautiful day here at the foot of the Mourne Mountains .so much so I had a wash on the line .. caught this image on my way past and just reminded me how beautiful it is when the winter sun shows her face .🌞 thanks to the 2 hikers who called with us last night.. after a day in the Mournes they just wern't ready to go home yet. They took the twin room ( hence the washing ) and after a cooked breakfast this morning went off to explore Castlewellan forest park . you really do have to take advantage of the weather when you get it ... .

i am assuming the neat little piles of seaweed are something to do with the tide ..but will the tide take them back out again..??
Bonjour... this was Room 3 ready for two Doctors on Saturday night. traveling from France they toured around Northern Ireland for a week . All their accommodation was booked through Airbnb and I was the last before heading to the airport .tout était très bien .(.everything was very good )
