Asda Larne Superstore

Seems the service when ordering online has went drastically down hill. Missed collection by a few minutes, had a missed call from the driver and rang them back.. No answer to several attempts. Rang customer service, on hold over 40 minutes only to be told they could only resubmit the order and charge me again. (bearing in mind my order was due to be delivered between 6-8 and I arrived a myself door at 5 past 6 so I was still within my allotted time). Reordered a £70 order for another date. Second order was missing item, Sent email...no response. Today I received an email to tell me my store had just cancelled an order over £100. Rang CS again and all they were willing to do is find out why it was cancelled but I'd have to again resubmit and pay again.

Great shop, not too busy, in and out no hassle

Went in to buy milk, saw the lovely meat on display at butcher' counter , ended up buying a couple of weeks worth of beautiful meats at very!! reasonable prices.

Plenty of parking space and well laid out store, but the staff (who are very friendly and helpful any other time) seem to have absolutely no respect for the customers when they are restocking the shelves during opening hours. The staff will quite happily block entire aisles with trollies and have empty boxes strewn the length of the aisle floor as they joke with each other, totally ignoring customers trying to get their shopping done.
Obviously the staff are only doing as the management have instructed them to do, so I lay the blame with them.

Love the fact I can get everything under one roof and the prices are great.
The staff are wonderful and always appear cheerful.
Only negative is that it is always so cold,have to put cardi or warmer clothing to go there.

This store is what Larne has been crying out for...brilliant parking, everything you need under the one roof and the prices are reasonable.

We would visit here most days, best value around and local staff are very friendly and helpful.

Happy staff. A good selection of food, clothes and newspapers etc.

Not sure what is going on with the product range in Larne Asda or if this approach is being rolled out nationwide but slowly and increasingly what could be described as the "big brand names" are being removed and replaced with Asda own brand foods. This is not to say the Asda own brands are inferior because they are not but we become accustomed to certain tastes and if we, as customers wish to try something different the idea should be our own and not as a result of reduced choice forcing our hand. Yes there is probably a greater profit for Asda if they sell their own named brands but what happens when the customers choice reaches the point where they have a limited or no choice and they head to Carrickfergus or Ballymena and shop at Tesco?
