Cheap rooms including a decent fry for breakfast

Went for a meal after walking in the surrounding area. Food ad service first class couldn't fault it at all 10/10
Went for breakfast and we both agreed that we were not happy with the service from one staff member in particular. We were served by a young girl no more than 18 years of age, she had a very "not bothered" attitude and didn't seem to want to be serving. We ordered breakfast which came quickly and was enjoyable and would deserve a 5 star rating, however this member of staff left us with a bad taste in our mouths and would persuade us not to visit again. However one persons attitude doesn't set the standard of the whole establishment but when a person like our server is the face of the business to the customers you would think that management would like to be informed hence im writing a review.
I took my 24yr old son, his fiance & my 13yr old son for lunch at the Avoca. The staff where friendly, the atmosphere was peaceful & the seating comfy. We ordered our food & drinks & both arrived quickly. Considering that the price was a lot cheaper than other places in town the portions were huge! The food was very tasty & very little was left & anything that was left was only done so because we were full. I would fully recommend the Avoca for lunch or/& dinner & my family & I will be returning

Really out dated decor it seriously needs brought into the 21st century. The fried breakfast was poor at best and portion size was a disgrace
Clean, simple, helpful staff, excellent breakfast and took me in without reservation at 11p.m.(admittedly, late november so not peak period)I would definitely go back. A spare blanket would be worth providing for a chilly winter's night. At this price point five stars.
