Ballyboley Forest

Lovely woods, great for walks at all times of the day. Is probably one of my favourite spots being so varied and also being close to the reservoir it makes for lovely scenery. Only downside is that there is currently a lot of tree felling taking place so there won't be much of a forest left over the next few years. It'll be amazing in about 20 to 30 years when the trees all grow back though...

Not well signposted for walkers. The paths were good but it was a bit boring, not much change in the forest scenery. Our dog did have a good run off her lead.

Good long open spaces popular with dog walkers and rambler's

Lovly family walk with the kids dogs n horses its lovly wrap up warm on a cold day tho :-)
