If any marathon runners wake up this morning with black toenails.. don't despair! 🏃
A blood blister, or subungual haematoma can occur beneath the nail following injury or trauma.
It is a common occurrence in runners and a haematoma sometimes requires treatment by a podiatrist.
... The good news is most haematomas 'grow out' eventually. The bad news is it takes a LONG time!

Super professional service could not recommend them highly enough. Absolutely brilliant, never thought I would need this service but only for a family member requiring their attention i could recommend them to anyone who has the need .

On a recent visit to Ballycastle my 12 year old daughters in-grown toe nail flared up and she was in quite a lot of pain. Niamh did a fantastic job removing the offending piece of nail and giving us some very helpful tips on how to avoid it reoccurring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Niamh to anyone.
