About Ballymena & Little Steps Antrim Surestart

Ballymena & Little Steps Antrim Sure Start is funded by the Department of Education to provide a range of services to both children pre-birth to four years and their families.

Ballymena & Little Steps Antrim Surestart Description

Ballymena Sure Start is fully funded by the Department of Education through the Northern Childcare Partnership to provide both individual and group support and operates from either of two centres covering eight electoral wards in the North and South of Ballymena including Summerfield, Fairgreen, Dunclug, Castle Demense, Ballykeel, Ballee, Moat and Harryville.

Ballymena Sure Start is a Partnership Project with Action for Children assuming the role of the the lead body and NHSCT assuming the role of the accountable body.

The project comprises a Multi-agency and Multi-disciplinary team and works in close partnership with a range of statutory, voluntary and community groups to provide a needs led approach to the delivery of services in the area. Services cover three main themes which are Family Support; Play and Early Learning and Specialised Health Support.
All services are FREE!
