The u13s continued their preparations for the Supercup today with a six mile sponsored walk at Glenariff Forest Park completed by players and parents! Thank you to everyone who sponsored the fundraiser and to Allen's Meats who kindly provided the meat for the post walk BBQ.

At the start of June our Youth Academy GK Coach, Philip Simpson took part in this years IFA GK Diploma.
Two weekends of teaching and coaching which was carried out by our very own senior GK coach, Alan Simpson and ex BUFC GK William McFredrick. An excellent 4 days, enjoyable and full of information to pass onto our young goalkeepers in the Youth Academy.

Ballymena United Head of Youth Development Joe McCall presents Under 15 leading goalscorer Jodee Galashan with his award. Jodee was unable to attend the awards night in Tullyglass as he was participating in final trials for Co.Antrim Super Cup.

BUYA U10's
The U10 boys started a busy weekend of football with the Antrim Rovers tournament on Saturday morning at Allen Park. The boys played some brilliant football on the day, in very wet conditions, and scored plenty of goal.
They went all the way to the final where they were eventually beaten 1-0 by Bertie Peacocks. The boys can count themselves very unlucky as they only conceded 2 goals in the tournament out of 5 matches played.
... Goalscorers on the day were: Alex Houston (3), Jamie Wilson (3), Jayden Reid, Ryan Small, Ryan Watt and Charlie Wilson.
On Sunday afternoon it was off to Allen Park where they played two friendlies against Rangers Academy, where they ran out 1-0 winners in the first game and lost the other by the same score.

Jamie has had a great season playing up a year with the '09 boys. From playing out to doing goalkeeper he’s done all that’s been asked of him and has turned out to be a great team player.

P6 day at the Ballymena Invitational Mini Soccer League. The blues did good! Some great football played, plenty of goals scored and 5/5 clean sheets ⚽ And a great wooly hat! #whereissummer

Well, our junior awards and fun night seemed to go well! Plenty of painted faces, plenty of football and plenty of smiles. Well done to all the boys and especially to Daniel Neilly our under 9 winner of The Wes Gregg Cup. Many thanks to everyone that attended tonight and to the parents, thank you for bringing your children faithfully every week this season. Hope to see you all at the senior European game on the 27th June folks. ⚽️

UNDER 9's
This weekend was another busy one for our group of Under 9's.
First up on Saturday morning the Youth Team played in the Cliftonville Cup Advanced section. After a couple of group wins the team yet again lost out on penalties in the semi-final.
... On Saturday afternoon it was the turn of the P5 team, who took part in the Ballymena Invitational Tournament at The Showgrounds.
Today then saw the Colts Team play in the Cliftonville Cup Development section. After a third place finish in the group the team had an excellent quarter-final win.
Despite leading 1-0 in the semi-final they conceded two late goals, denying the team a place in the final of the Shield.
