Willowbank F.C. we had are 10 year anniversary and end of year presentation on Friday 29th June .

Must say from the start of the preparation the staff where so helpful , Bernie @( reception)took care off every little detail, sorting out the table plan .

All the food , and arranging the presentation table .

The event itself could not have went better as the staff where extremely friendly and helpful . Food was perfect �

What a brilliant professional hotel and staff , especially Vicki and Catriona who tended to everything on our wedding day on 28th august 2018 with the utmost of care and attention. I cant praise the Balmoral enough for a fantastic wedding day, flawless from start to finish. The room decor, food and the ambiance of the place was top notch. Definitely recommend The Balmoral as a wedding venue . Loved it..

Went to the Sunday Carvery with approx 40+ family members for a birthday celebration. Food was delicious with plenty of choice to suit everyone and the set up was brilliant. Definitely recommend you try it! Staff very attentive and place was spotless. Not one complaint from our group which I call a result � We then retired to the lobby bar which had great entertainment and enjoyed some fabulous cocktails.

On behalf of the Co Antrim boxing board i would like to commend all the staff in Stix & Stones for the quality of food and service we had on Sat 1st Sep. We were a party of 15 and were accomodated superbly by Fionnuala and the rest of the staff and as usual the food was top quality. Thanks for a great nite.

Myself and my husband had our wedding reception in the Balmoral hotel on the 27th June 2018 and we can not thank the staff enough for all they done! Especially Katrina and Sarah, our wedding co-ordinators who tied in with us throughout our day, making sure everything was nothing less than perfect! Our day was stress free, everything from our bridal suite ( which was amazing!) The food, atmosphere and entertainment flowed so perfectly all thanks to These two girls who could not have done more for us and our guests! Especially our two children, who Sarah took the time to sit on the floor with our little girl whilst she shared sweeties with her... little things like these that no one else sees. The dedication, patience and kindness shown to us and our children I can not thank you both enough! I wish I could go back and do it all over again.. use made it so easy! I highly recommend these girls for any brides getting married and this hotel! Service was second to none! Our guests enjoyed the day as much as we did and have had nothing but great things to say about the hotel and staff! Thank you! Mr & Mrs Mc Neill xx

I just had my mum and dads 60th party here. What a night was great fun. Hall was lovely, the girls on the bar that night Friday the 1st of june were very helpful. They helped me with balloons and got me an extra table and chairs. nothing was to much for them, lovely girls they were. Was just a good night all round and the hotel and staff helped to make it a fun night. Definitely future family parties will be here. Thanks balmoral staff. Job well done

Had our wedding here on sat 7.7.18. An amazing day with brillant staff goin above&behond to cater for ur needs. Big shout out to Vicky from the wedding team that made sure our day was perfect. Had my wedding reception in Balmoral hotel yesterday. Delighted is an under statement! From start to finish every thing was amazing it just flowed so well with no hiccups. The staff went above and beyond with their service nothing was forgotten or over looked and they were there if I needed them especially Vikki and Katrina who helped plan the wedding. Also Mark skillen, he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome as did the doorman and the bar staff. The food and buffet was amazing. Thanks so much for helping make our day amazing!

Had dinner here for the first time today, there were 7 of us, we ate in the restaurant and honestly the food and service was fantastic!! Haven’t had a meal as nice in a long time and the service was very fast! Everyone cleared their plates will defo be back soon and will defo be recommending � thanks again �

Attended a 30th Birthday party last night , was really lovely, staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we were comfortable all night, and Colette made us great cosmopolitan cocktails, buffet was good and plenty of it

We stayed last night, food was amazing drinks were great and room was lovely! There was an issue with other hotel guests which did spoil our stay but other than that it was 100%

Had a fantastic weekend at the balmoral hotel for a family wedding no complaints until checking out. We had an issue regarding our deposit & the attitude & customer service from hotel staff was absolutely appalling! Bernadette the deputy manager was the only person who tried to & did eventually resolve our issue so thank you Bernadette

Just had lunch at the balmoral . Treated by my daughters. Very bad lunch experience. Service horrible had to ask for everything more than once. Did complain to the manager but looked liked couldnt careless. Certainly not an experience i wish to repeat.my advice avoid the place!!!

i went for a meal for my mums birthday and the serving staff were more than helpful and very polite started out good but the food was below quality and tasted horrrible and beyond good standards and when i asked to speak about it with duty manager about the mains to ask for a refund for my mums he argued and said we'd have to still pay and wait 24 hours to see if was possible for a refund i couldnt believe how he responded instead of trying to help customers he blatantly stood and argued which was poor and very unreasonable if you want a horrble night and poor food and and unreasonble headstaff that have no clue of there job title then id recommend

Worst stay I have ever encountered couldn’t even get back in my room because of all the police that arrived.people we’re fighting on the car park and the reception staff were rude and told lies.

Nice decor, lovely food, staff and service was atrocious. We’ve been going here for years but visited in April 2018 and will not be back, disaster from the beginning. Ordered drinks and the wrong order came, received menus and waited for 15 minutes, no one arrived to take our order, the staff were standing around talking to each other. I had to walk up to ask someone. The food arrived, but veg, sauce and tobacco onions all missing. I queried this and was told that those had to be ordered separate, so I checked the menu online shocked by this and was right! I queried again and we received everything one by one but getting your meal in drips and drabs just ruins the experience! Half way through our meal other people were seated next to us and were given specials menus which we were not. It wasn’t even because it very busy as the staff were just standing around. Asked for the bill, didn’t come. Asked again, waited and it finally arrived. The manager apologised but honestly didn’t seem too worried about it. Awful awful experience that left a sour taste in our mouths.

Have been twice this month. Thought I'd go the second time to see if it was any better but no! Service was very slow both times. On the first visit our guest couldn't eat her meal as it was tasteless. I ordered a burger and my mistake I dropped the top bun on the floor - the waitress saw this and said she would bring me another one but it never arrived. On the second visit I ordered the burger again - supposed to be a southern fried chicken burger but there was no taste to it apart from tasting like it had been washed in fairy liquid??? Definitely won't be back.

Door staff were rude and unhelpful which filtered down to staff including duty manager. I was treated like dirt because one door man didn't like me. Cocktail I ordered was made 2nd rate to the person beside me....It was the same drink. Never again.

Booked this hotel back in January for a wedding on sat there (7th). Was told when i booked it over the phone the room was £79 only to arrive on the day and be told i had to pay £110 for room and £50 desposit. Ok i no you pay a despoit but getting charged £110 for a so call double room. The room was so small and the heat was wild. Asked to speak to manager and never seen one. Wanted to cancel but tild the payment would still come out. Asked a few other people from the wedding party and they told me there rooms where £79. Have send 2 emails to the hotel and still no response. Defo not be back and to top it all off the breakfast next morning was full off grease. NEVER EVER AGAIN
