The SATCHEL Project is a service being delivered by Barnardo’s, The Western Health Trust, Save the Children and Early Years.

Everyone wants the best for their children, whether it’s the best start in life or in their Education.

The SATCHEL Project works with parents and children aged 4-6 as they move from Pre-School /Nursery to Primary School and into P. 2. It provides opportunities for: -

Parents to learn how to help their child do well in school

Parents to learn practical skills that they can use with their child

Parents and schools to strengthen their relationship

Children to improve their speech and language
