Barnett Demesne, once a private estate, opened to the public in 1951. Today, the park, in south Belfast, retains much of the character of the original estate.
Its main feature is Malone House which commands stunning views over acres of magnificent parkland, Lagan Valley and the Belfast hills. The park is also home to Belfast Activity Centre, which is located in the old stable yard and offers personal and social development opportunities for young people, as well as many pieces of public art

This capital project is a collaboration between Outdoor Recreation NI and Belfast City Council.
The trails themselves consist of a shared use 4km linear green trail and an 4km blue trail with 3 red loop options.
The Barnett Demesne Trails also boast Ireland's first official purpose-built jumps park with no less than 6 lines to tick everyone's boxes!

Please be aware of a Family Funday this Saturday 20 th August, the carparks could be very busy. You might want to park further away and cycle to the trails
Please note the Barnetts Demesne Jump Park will be closed for a couple of hours this Thursday evening 30th June from 6:30pm to 9:30pm for some essential maintenance. The work will be carried out under supervision of Belfast council by volunteers from Belfast City Bmx Club if you would like to know more or get involved contact, belfastcitybmxclub@gmail.com

Great for a spin around nothing to challenging so great for beginners as well

Nothing too hard but the jump park is there if you want a little bit more.
Crackin spot for all levels of riders.
