Cannot thank the staff at Basil Knipe enough, one broken oven the day before the turkey was to be put on for Christmas - rang Chris Cairns and approximately 30 mins later (after closing time) I had the new cooker in the back of the car. This was our first visit to Basil Knipe Electrics. We felt we had found 'the jewel in the crown'. The customer care was excellent. We were afforded first class service delivered by first class staff. We feel we must mention Neil Martin since nothing was too much trouble to him. He assisted us in finding exactly what we were looking for. A fabulous store, a hidden gem. Of course we will be back.

Thank you Basil Knipe electrics, especially Neill, excellent service as always! New freezer delivered and in position 2 hours after purchase which has probably saved the contents of the old freezer. This is the sort of service we would all like to receive but rarely find these days from retailers with a more impersonal approach to customer service.

Simply the best. There customer is simply brilliant both before the sale and afterwards. All there staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There delivery men are fast efficient and very friendly. Forget the large chain retailers. After our washing machine broke down we were loaned a machine whilst ours was being repaired. YOU WON'T GET that anywhere else. Basil Knipe should be your FIRST port of call for any of your electrical goods.

Ordered a new tumble dryer today as my old one packed in..within 25 minute's they had it delivered to my door. As a mum with two young kids.. I can't stress how much that was appreciated. Absolutely first class service.. and a bargain buy , with Caroline even able to knock a further discount on the product. Really impressed Will be highly recommended . Thank you very much, working an absolute treat.

Love this shop and staff were more than helpful. Sorted us our with what we needed for our new kitchen few years ago. So I recommend our neighbour to shop here and she has just bought a hob and oven from them few weeks ago. �

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Basil Knipe for their excellent service. I bought a fridge freezer a few weeks ago but as I was getting work done on my kitchen I had to delay delivery. After finishing work unexpectedly early one afternoon I called them and within an hour I had my new fridge freezer. Thanks so much.

I have dealt with Basil Knipe Electrics over the years and always found the staff to be very helpful and pleasant. But at the weekend and today they excelled themselves. My fridge feeezer broke down a few weeks ago and was repaired. It broke again last week and an engineer from a well known brand called on Saturday. He said it couldn't be fixed until the 29th Dec. His attitude was something else. So I went to Basil Knipe Electric in a panic. One of the staff (Ronan) smiled and said don't panic Liz we can lend you one until the 29th. Meanwhile my son bought me a new one and it was delivered 2 hours later...excellent service. Then the lovely Zara called me today and got me sorted. My experience with the brand's engineer in no way reflects on the lovely staff at Basil Knipe Electrics and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. I hope Santa's good to them this Christmas they deserve it. Happy Christmas to all at Basil Knipe Electrics and look forward to dealing with you in the future.

I cannot recommend Basil Knipe Electrics enough. After being let down by a multi national company I went to Basil Knipe Electrics and I purchased exactly what I was looking for with no hassle and excellent customer service (Chris). I wasn't hassled or pushed towards a more expensive brand of the same product, I was listened to and advised accordingly (very rare these days)! The American fridge freezer was delivered the very next day and the two gentlemen delivering it could not have done anymore. They took away the packaging and installed it exactly where I wanted it. Even though they had to remove doors and other pieces of furniture they never complained once, got down to the job at hand very efficiently and with a smile on their face and easygoing banter all the way. I will definitely be back :)

Haven't bought our stuff yet but was recommended knipes by a few people and they haven't disappointed! Thomas was brilliant and will go out of his way to help you with everything, he emailed me all the prices and models numbers of what I looked at, and has been more than helpful and knows his stuff! Prices are best I've seen and I'm a girl that likes getting a bargain! Lol will be ordering all our stuff for our new house from here and also will be doing out wedding list here!

Have known Basil a long time and we bought all our kitchen appliances from him when we renovated the kitchen. The fridge started playing up 4 months ago and since the parts warranty was still valid they organised for an engineer from the makers to come out. Well after 4 separate visits which meant late to work or home early for me a few of the times it still wasn't fixed. I'd had enough so spoke to Zara last Monday at Knipes and she didn't stop phoning the separate companies or take no for an answer until she had us sorted with a new fridge. Can't praise her enough and I'd certainly recommend the company. Support local I say!

Got a great deal on a new Neff oven . Excellent customer service . Staff very friendly and knowledgable about products . Given full details on all ranges available no pressure to buy.

Found everything we were looking for in the first visit. Customer service was fantastic, Dermott went above and beyond to ensure we left the store with all the info we needed. His knowledge of the products and advice was great! We went to the store on recommendation from friends and will definitely be passing that recommendation on.

First class customer service. Replaced our brand new washing machine after it started leaking - the manufacturer was taking too long to get it fixed.
