Last week saw the first Technical week for Development courses run by BNI. Fantastic to see so many clubs and local schools represented. @Northstar Bball, Mulroy Hoops Basketball Club, Belfast Phoenix Basketball Club, Andersonstown Tigers Basketball Club, Ulster University Elks Basketball, Magherafelt Titans Basketball Club, Queens Basketball Club, Hazelwood Hawks Basketball Club, Tyrone Towers all had club members taking part. Many thanks to NRC Ireland, Basketball Ireland Coaching and Playing Standards Unit, @National Table Officials Committee and Basketball Ireland for facilitating the courses and St. Mary's CBGS Belfast and Ulster University for their facilities.

Congratulations to Andersonstown Tigers player Naoishe Burns on making it to the next selection round for the U17 Ireland squad, the only player from Northern Ireland. We wish her well during the next phase of selection.

As you may be aware, there are now four teams participating in either national or super league this season. Most of these games are played on a Saturday and it would be the intention to create a list of table officials which would be circulated to the relevant clubs in order that their games will get covered.
These clubs will be fined if those covering the games do not hold an intro or level 1 course.
... I am also trying to encourage the younger members (must be 15 and above) to get involved. The payment for officiating a game is £10.
There is a course being held this Friday and it would be a great way for those already doing the table at local level to obtain the qualification.
Could all clubs check with their members and pass on any names and level obtained of anyone who would like to be placed on this list so that a National/Super league officials can be drawn up.
Many thanks for your help.
