Bavarian BMW recently had a visit from some Year 13 Business Studies students from Methodist College Belfast. The students wanted a small insight into how all the different roles within the business work together. They had talks from various members of staff to show how different avenues can all lead to successful careers. The students then had a tour of the dealership and some lovely breakfast. Bought 520d M Sport from this company. As we live in Scotland, the deal was done by telephone. The sales executive (Stuart) was fantastic and was only too happy to take our calls and answer our queries. On the day of collection, we hoped to get the same ferry back to Cairnryan as we travelled over to Belfast on, saving us a 4 hour wait, and explained this to Stuart. On arrival at the showroom, the car was ready for immediate uplift and, forward thinking on Stuart's side, he even had the return route to the docks set in the navigation system. Needless to say, the car was exactly as we expected and, yes, we made our return ferry as we hoped. I highly recommend this company and their professional, helpful and efficient service is second to none - thank you Stuart & staff!

In dire need of an i-customer-friendly charging policy. Needed a quick top up in my i3 today while buying parts and was advised to go to a nearby retail park because the sales team were using the two charging bays for two hybrids, neither of which was charging. Appalling i- customer service i’m afraid.



Review changed from 1* to 4* on account of a fast and efficient response to my e-charging issue with the promise of staff training to prevent recurrence. Well done Bavarian �

Went in too look at a part exchange, got price and trade in value for my car. Spoke to finance and they gave me prices, which I asked to be emailed across to me. It's taken over a week and still nothing. I was even asked to check my spam folder, surprisingly no email. I question how much they want my part exchange. About 20k uplift in car value. I'll go elsewhere thanks

Disappointed! Took my car for a service last week and I'm not happy at all. Had a fault with my car since I purchased it and fault was never replaced. Once out of warranty, it needs replaced and at my cost. I obviously didn't complain enough!



Still waiting for the after service call I usually receive but that has disappeared.



Read other poor reviews and think I can relate to some of them also. Was booked in for a Data Update (never heard anyone else I know with a BMW having to get one) which I was told was a straight forward procedure and wouldn't take long. When arrived at Bavarian, they didn't know what I was talking about and needed it over night to carry out the full Data Update.

Awful experience. Took my car in Feb for service. Clock wasn't reset. Questioned it at time and was told smart servicing story. Back in last Wednesday for the service that wasn't needed that was flagging because the clock wasn't set right after the service in Feb. Also had a problem with power steering rack which they agreed to fix under warranty. Kept car wed and thurs to do the power steering work which was fine. Took it home Thursday to find clock had not been reset again! car was saying it needed serviced and all electronic settings and service history lost. In on Friday for another day. Picked up Friday to find steering wheel wasn't straight from the work on the power steering fix. Back in again on Monday and now finally fixed!! Worst experience ever with a car and definitely didn't expect this from a top garage like Bavarian. A lot of questions to be asked of the workmanship and quality assurance checks before sending cars out.



3 trips back and forth to Boucher and 4 days without my car is far from ideal!

Avoid this place if you dont want to be screwed over!!! I live a 3 hour drive away from Belfast so over a couple of days and several emails and phonecalls with a salesman (in the boucher road BMW Bavarian office) i negotiated buying a BMW they had on sale worth £10,000 (€11.5 k.) It was a rare model so after going through the spec and warranty details, i told them that if the car was as it seemed, id come and see it asap to buy it. I could have bought a similar car elsewhere for a better price but i thought that because they were an approved a BMW dealer they would have great customer care. We arranged a time that suited them - i took time off work and bought the sterling cash with my bank (as i live in southern ireland which uses euro currency) I also arranged a friend to come with me who was knowledgeble about cars. After 1 hour into my journey to Belfast, the salesman called and told me, opps sorry, they had just sold the car to some guy who walked into the office! No consolation offer to see if a similar car could be source from the network of bmw dealers across the uk- (even when i asked) Not even the curtosey to ring and give me the option to close the deal over the phone before they offered it to the randomer. The salesman then hung up on me and was "busy" when i tried to ring him back via their main phoneline. I finally got his manager on the phone and the manager confirmed that what i had experienced was "great customer care from his excellent salesman" and that i should have reserved the car without actually seeing it! The following day i got an email from the salesman describing how- and i quote "The Agnew Group is the largest prestige motor dealer in Northern Ireland with over 80 years of experience" and how they "pride" themselves on offering a "unique and memorable experience" to their customers! Oh its been memorable alright! Ive seen similar stories online about this place now that ive googled them. I wish i knew this before i wasted my time! I wonder does BMW know what these people are doing for their brand, id rather deal with a backyard Delboy, at least youd actually expect to be screwed over by him!

In dire need of an i-customer-friendly charging policy. Needed a quick top up in my i3 today while buying parts and was advised to go to a nearby retail park because the sales team were using the two charging bays for two hybrids, neither of which was charging. Appalling i- customer service i’m afraid.

Went in too look at a part exchange, got price and trade in value for my car. Spoke to finance and they gave me prices, which I asked to be emailed across to me. It's taken over a week and still nothing. I was even asked to check my spam folder, surprisingly no email. I question how much they want my part exchange. About 20k uplift in car value. Disappointed! Took my car for a service last week and I'm not happy at all. Had a fault with my car since I purchased it and fault was never replaced. Once out of warranty, it needs replaced and at my cost. I obviously didn't complain enough!



Still waiting for the after service call I usually receive but that has disappeared.

When arrived at Bavarian, they didn't know what I was talking about and needed it over night to carry out the full Data Update.

Back in last Wednesday for the service that wasn't needed that was flagging because the clock wasn't set right after the service in Feb. Also had a problem with power steering rack which they agreed to fix under warranty. Kept car wed and thurs to do the power steering work which was fine. Took it home Thursday to find clock had not been reset again! car was saying it needed serviced and all electronic settings and service history lost. In on Friday for another day. Picked up Friday to find steering wheel wasn't straight from the work on the power steering fix. Back in again on Monday and now finally fixed!! Worst experience ever with a car and definitely didn't expect this from a top garage like Bavarian. A lot of questions to be asked of the workmanship and quality assurance checks before sending cars out.



3 trips back and forth to Boucher and 4 days without my car is far from ideal!

I live a 3 hour drive away from Belfast so over a couple of days and several emails and phonecalls with a salesman (in the boucher road BMW Bavarian office) i negotiated buying a BMW they had on sale worth £10,000 (€11.5 k.) It was a rare model so after going through the spec and warranty details, i told them that if the car was as it seemed, id come and see it asap to buy it. I could have bought a similar car elsewhere for a better price but i thought that because they were an approved a BMW dealer they would have great customer care. We arranged a time that suited them - i took time off work and bought the sterling cash with my bank (as i live in southern ireland which uses euro currency) I also arranged a friend to come with me who was knowledgeble about cars. After 1 hour into my journey to Belfast, the salesman called and told me, opps sorry, they had just sold the car to some guy who walked into the office! No consolation offer to see if a similar car could be source from the network of bmw dealers across the uk- (even when i asked) Not even the curtosey to ring and give me the option to close the deal over the phone before they offered it to the randomer. The salesman then hung up on me and was "busy" when i tried to ring him back via their main phoneline. I finally got his manager on the phone and the manager confirmed that what i had experienced was "great customer care from his excellent salesman" and that i should have reserved the car without actually seeing it! The following day i got an email from the salesman describing how- and i quote "The Agnew Group is the largest prestige motor dealer in Northern Ireland with over 80 years of experience" and how they "pride" themselves on offering a "unique and memorable experience" to their customers! Oh its been memorable alright! Ive seen similar stories online about this place now that ive googled them. I wish i knew this before i wasted my time! I wonder does BMW know what these people are doing for their brand, id rather deal with a backyard Delboy, at least youd actually expect to be screwed over by him!

The sales executive (Stuart) was fantastic and was only too happy to take our calls and answer our queries. It was a rare model so after going through the spec and warranty details, i told them that if the car was as it seemed, id come and see it asap to buy it. I could have bought a similar car elsewhere for a better price but i thought that because they were an approved a BMW dealer they would have great customer care. We arranged a time that suited them - i took time off work and bought the sterling cash with my bank (as i live in southern ireland which uses euro currency) I also arranged a friend to come with me who was knowledgeble about cars. After 1 hour into my journey to Belfast, the salesman called and told me, opps sorry, they had just sold the car to some guy who walked into the office! No consolation offer to see if a similar car could be source from the network of bmw dealers across the uk- (even when i asked) Not even the curtosey to ring and give me the option to close the deal over the phone before they offered it to the randomer. The salesman then hung up on me and was "busy" when i tried to ring him back via their main phoneline. I finally got his manager on the phone and the manager confirmed that what i had experienced was "great customer care from his excellent salesman" and that i should have reserved the car without actually seeing it! The following day i got an email from the salesman describing how- and i quote "The Agnew Group is the largest prestige motor dealer in Northern Ireland with over 80 years of experience" and how they "pride" themselves on offering a "unique and memorable experience" to their customers! Oh its been memorable alright! Ive seen similar stories online about this place now that ive googled them. I wish i knew this before i wasted my time! I wonder does BMW know what these people are doing for their brand, id rather deal with a backyard Delboy, at least youd actually expect to be screwed over by him!
