Abandoned car set on fire

As much as we welcome the improvement scheme ongoing on Beechmount Avenue. We feel it’s a shame the University insisted on a private hedge to block the view into Collage.
One of the main improvements in removing the wall was the visual impact, creating an open and brighter look to Beechmount Avenue.
Although the new railing and hedge will look better than the old wall, this improvement has now been undone by planting an 8ft high ‘privacy hedge’.
