Belfast 89FM is a community radio station licensed by Ofcom to broadcast to, 55 + audience in the Belfast City area a 24 /7, music-led station but we also bring daily talk and chat programmes with community information, interviews, advice and discussions which are of interest and relevant to our audience. When you listen to Belfast 89FM you'll notice we are not like other radio stations- we sound different because we are the authentic voice of our city. Sounding like every other station has never been our motivation- our down to earth style genuinely sets us apart! Our playlists are not solely based on computer algorithms. Belfast 89 presenters are music enthusiasts loving radio, they play great music, and it shows. It's like having your own big jukebox with a bit of craic! As one of our listeners said – "Belfast 89FM - it's where all the good songs have gone". Our advertising rates are very affordable to local shops & businesses, for example a month's campaign delivering 168 spots would be comparable to a standard newspaper ad and works out at around 66% cheaper than the other local radio stations' rate cards. We're on 89. 3 MHz FM and also stream live on the Internet making the station available to a wide audience on both fixed and mobile devices
