Thanks so much to the two guys (airport staff) who helped us this morning when we arrived at the wrong place to transport two cats, they got us a trolley gave us a pound for the trolley got us a ticket to get out of the carpark again and pointed us in the right direction ļæ½

User

Lovely man from the car parking desk last night (3/4) really went the extra mile for my family. It was pouring down and he offered off his own back and assisted my children and I to the short stay to ensure we didn't get soaked whilst my partner collected our car from long stay. It was really appreciated and very kind. Thank you!

User

Love George best. Food is on point and the staff always friendly and helpful with a smile considering what they deal with daily.. if only fly be was on point as Iā€™m normally an hour to even 4 hours delayed by them. Thank gosh for tasty coffee!!!

User

Flew yesterday. All fine apart from security who took my 1 year oldā€™s milk out of her hands and threw it away. Of course, I was the one who had to deal with the upset afterwards. Thanks for that.

Iā€™ve flown with her a number of times through various airports and milk is checked but always allowed through. Belfast City Airport security staff seemed to think that milk for infants was only allowed in a baby bottle with teat and because hers was in a sippy cup she wasnā€™t allowed to keep it. I canā€™t find any reference to this rule on the website though. Any clarification would be appreciated for future trips.

User

Whatā€™s wrong with @belfastcityairport :

1. You donā€™t communicate properly with whatā€™s happening with flights. I use my app to tell me if flights are delayed otherwise a notice comes up at the time the flight is due to take off without any details.

2. I asked a member of staff member in the St. Georgeā€™s market restaurant if e-cigarettes are allowed as I was surprised to see someone smoking. She said ā€œtechnically no but you could probably sneak itā€ How about you tell people off for doing it rather than thinking itā€™s okay and enforce the policy ?!

3. St Georgeā€™s market restaurant is incredibly overpriced (even by airport standards) for basic food which has been sitting out all day on hot plates.

Would I come back ? Yes because itā€™s so easy for me to get to from my home. Only positive is there is a free set down for 10 minutes

User

Please change the signs and say DEPARTURES VIA THE SHOPS, and not have everyone going via toilets and back and still confused. ļæ½ ļæ½ ļæ½ . Lady in the shop was quite rude, saying ā€œthe sign says departures this wayā€... because a shop is departures isnā€™t it!?!?!?

User

Not the worst airport by far BUT please address your policies on breastfeeding. It is a legal right of motherā€™s to breastfeed their babies in public spaces but in your airport you seem to think motherā€™s want to feed their babies in a smelly disabled toilet?? How is that fair on anyone - making the baby eat in a toilet & making those with accessibility needs wait prolonged periods whilst a baby is being nursed. Please seriously consider joining the ā€œBreastfeeding Welcome Hereā€ scheme and displaying their signs and stickers in the airport. Oh and get rid of that sign on the accessibility toilet...

User

You want the worst food and customer service come the Harvest Market Belfast HMS Host UK Ltd, St. Georgeā€™s Market. cold food, over priced customers come after they sort whoā€™s do what, no thank you or pleaseā€™s, honestly guys stay away eat before you come to the airport. No other choice if you donā€™t like it no where else to go. My advice would be spend no more time than you need to here.

User

Where you are invited to feed your baby in a disabled/baby change toilet. I must say when I put dinner out for my family I usually choose the bathroom. ā€œCome on everyone lets go eat your breakfast/lunch/dinner in a fecal sprayed roomā€ said nobody ever. Disappointing Belfast City Airport.

User

Welcome to Belfast City Airport where parking is more expensive than the flights

The slop dished out at the St Georgeā€™s is actually hilarious for the money

You are a stain on this city

User

Today I was put through your body scanner (2 seconds - hardly long enough to find anything, had I actually been concealing it) then, in my view, over zealously body searched - the only part that escaped was my crotch - thankfully.

My boots were already off - I was wearing leggings and a light top. It was obvious I wasn't carrying anything, besides some extra weight! I was asked to lift my top to show the waistband of my leggings, thus revealing my rather noticeable operation scar to the world - and of course the blubber - cheers for that by the way. Then I had the scanning wand used on me. I was half expecting the rubber gloves to come out. Talk about overkill.

I'd flown in from London City who didn't feel it necessary to subject me to this. You are now up there with Heathrow as an airport to be avoided.

User

This airport continues to charge exorbitant rates for car parking. Just paid Ā£47 for 4 days. Other parking options in the area were put out of business, so the airport has the market cornered. I'll avoid this airport in future. Hateful experience.

User

The time on the parking barrier on the way in is different to the one the way out .. So instead of ten minutes free you only get 7/8 minutes so they can charge Ā£2.70.. and no return within 15 minutes or itā€™s Ā£2.70 charge again.. gangsters

User

The place where they expect you to feed your baby in the toilet where people piss and shit, To the department and people who thought it acceptable - Iā€™d love to watch you eat your lunch in a bathroom. My family and I travel from and back to Belfast city airport, with a disabled child with his own wheelchair, going over was fine staff was lovely ļæ½, on way back we waited outside the aircraft for the childā€™s wheelchair and to our dissappointment the guy taking the luggage off the plane was throwing everything out , we stood weā€™re our mouths opened , till came my sons wheelchair WELL what can I say he lifted it handles came off and fired it down the belt , another guy brought it over we made him aware off what kind of prick off a worker is that , no consideration for peopleā€™s belongings, if he doesnā€™t like his job bloody leave it!!! Iā€™ve contacted Belfast city airport and no response, surprise surprise, I thought things like this didnā€™t happen on our door step !!!

Very disappointed family ļæ½ļæ½

Now I understand why people luggage are always damaged!!!

User

My complaint is with Flybe at Belfast city airport! They took off staff checkin and brought in machine check in over a year ago but there machines never work & they have 1 token member of staff there to be no help other than repeat what is on the screen! Disgraceful "service" & no sign of changing. This morning no different. 5 checkin machines & only 1 let you scan your details to checkin. On to the baggage scales, where there are 5/6 of them- only 2 switched on, as the token staff member couldn't "watch them all".. And Flybe won't put more staff on as this is self-checkin!! Disgraceful "service", which is being tolerated at this airport for what reasons, I do not know. Shame, as Belfast city airport is making a lot of positive changes structurally. If you aren't going to offer an effective checkin service, go back to people service...pick one Flybe & do it-well , preferably

User

My 4 year old daughter needed assistance to get through security and on to the air craft because she is noise sensitive. I called the airport and Flybe to make sure we could get some help as I had my baby in a carrier to.

When we arrived a lady said there was no assistance booked for or and they only do wheelchairs. We went to the assistance desk where 2 men tried to help told us to take a seat, I told them we just need to get help to go through quickly so that Olivia's would be ok. I also told them I needed to get through to get her lunch and get her settled before getting on the plane.

40 minutes later no one came to help us I went to the desk where another lady said we just have to wait until there free although she was playing on her mobile? So I went through my self and told someone would meet me.

But thanks to this Olivia was terrified going through the security I couldn't explain to her to take her ear defenders of as we was all rushed through so she was crying and scared because it was very loud in there and full of people now looking at her because she was very upset. After them putting are things through the machine no one helped me to strap my 4 month old to me or help put things back in my bag even though they could see me struggling and Olivia was crying. We went through and luckily the young lad that met us to take us to the plane was really nice and helpful.

Can I just remind your airport not every disability is visible and I won't be flying from this airport again.

User

Just travelled from Heathrow airport where the staff at different points were friendly courteous and helpful. Upon reaching Belfast city airport my, and a number of other passengers, luggage did not arrive with us. The airport was incredibly quiet as it was Sunday afternoon. Despite this fact the staff in Belfast city airport couldn't have been less helpful, less empathetic or more rude if they tried. Poor service for returning citizens like me but I wonder what the tourists in front of me thought about their welcome to our 'friendly country.

User

Extremely upset that within an hour I identified my expensive perfumes and make up had not come through on the tray at security and no one can find it. I have not had a response via the online form either ! I totally understand the need for security and absolutely comply and am a very frequent business traveller but the attitude of the lady on security was the worst I have ever experienced !

The time on the parking barrier on the way in is different to the one the way out .. So instead of ten minutes free you only get 7/8 minutes so they can charge Ā£2.70.. and no return within 15 minutes or itā€™s Ā£2.70 charge again.. gangsters

The place where they expect you to feed your baby in the toilet where people piss and shit, To the department and people who thought it acceptable - Iā€™d love to watch you eat your lunch in a bathroom. Shame on you! #Breastfeedingisnormal #Boobsareforbabys #Nottobesexualised #Itsnormaltobreastfeed

User

Thanks so much to the two guys (airport staff) who helped us this morning when we arrived at the wrong place to transport two cats, they got us a trolley gave us a pound for the trolley got us a ticket to get out of the carpark again and pointed us in the right direction ļæ½

Lovely man from the car parking desk last night (3/4) really went the extra mile for my family. It was pouring down and he offered off his own back and assisted my children and I to the short stay to ensure we didn't get soaked whilst my partner collected our car from long stay. It was really appreciated and very kind. Thank you!
