Belfast City Hospital

From what I have personally seen and heard over the past 3 weeks I wouldn't rate bch anymore than a 2 I actually wanted to give it a 1 , more than 50% of the nurses on the ward i was visiting have the most ridiculous broken English so hard to understand and as for the agency staff nurse who didn't know what skin profilling was the mind truly boggles and dirty plates left sitting from lunch until after half past 4 not acceptable and try as you may you can never get them to pick up the phone which is just ridiculous no matter how busy you are 1 person should always be available to answer the phone.

Doctors and staff are EXCELLENT. This hospital has 2 renowned kidney stone surgeons who are the best. Went here feeling very low and came out a million times better. Dont know what i would have done without their expertise and dedication. I came out a stone lighter. LOL. Shame Stormont allowed A&E to close here. Couldnt believe it.

Staff don't know what the emergency dentist do.You can't ring for advice because it goes to answering machine. How good is that for emergency????

Staff are nice enough parking is ok but not the best and there is a wee nick nack shop. Has it's own railway station

\Parking is a nightmare - at any time, any day. Staff pleasant enough, if you can find one. Physio is useless. They print out exercises for you to do at home. Huge gym, nobody there. All NHS hospitals are a disgrace. We wait for ages for an appointment and then get no help. An absolute waste of public money.
Wake up people. this is NOT a service for us, it's just buildings with staff being paid to send us away, disappointed and still in pain.

My mum has been in the cancer unit for 3 months the nurses and Doctor's are so good with her bless you all

I was up for my 1st Chemo and was so scared but I need not have been as all the staff were so friendly and helpful and they were all smiling it made my day so relaxing that it passed so smoothly and I had no need to worry before going up. I do not know how they do it as it was so busy but I never heard anyone complain so it shows you how smooth an operation it is. It leaves it that my 2nd Chemo I will sleep the night before as there is no need to get stressed out.

My mum was in ward 5 a few years ago. Excellent nurses and Doctors. Then attending Bridgewater Centre for Chemo we found the staff outstanding. Courteous and friendly. Even now 5 years later the yearly review recalls are always punctual. Can't thank or praise the staff enough
