Belfast Gin Fest set to splash down in Belfast for 2018.
A few short years ago gin was gin - simple, reliable. Insert tab A (gin) into slot B (tonic).
Recently however it has become the spirit that has most embodied the craft revolution. The mixers have changed, evolved and diversified, the garnishes are more elaborate and the gin has been transformed by a band of intrepid small batch distillers who’ve pushed the boundaries in search of better gin.
So it’s about time that Belfast, a city rammed full of amazing festivals, had a festival to celebrate this amazing spirit. Belfast Gin Fest will bring you the best gins in Ireland and beyond under one glorious roof for a weekend in June 2018. There’ll be more tonics, mixers and garnishes than you could shake a cocktail at.
With Seedhead Arts and Taste and Tour NI at the helm, guests know they’re going to get an immersive, exciting and fun programme with talks, demonstrations, experiences, excellent food and more to enhance this celebration of gin.
