Belfast Guitar Academy

Guitar and Bass Guitar lessons. 1-2-1 tuition or small groups. All ages and abilities. From only £12. 50 for a private 30 min lesson.

Red Tape Music Academy was set up and is currently run by myself, Stuart Magowan.

I specialise in Guitar, Bass Guitar and Music Theory lessons ( L. C. M Syllabus )

Along side this I also offer 1-1 Music Technology and composition tuition using the latest industry standard software ( Ableton Live 9 ) and Garage Band.

I have been involved in the music scene in Northern Ireland for over 20 years and continue to work as a professional musician and tutor within the Industry.

As a musician, performer and writer I have worked with acts such as Cashier no 9, Kid Dynamo and Corrigan.

I have also worked with internationally renowned artists such as David Holmes and Phil Kieran.

As well as running the academy, I teach in local schools, work with youth groups, the Princess Trust and run music technology and songwriting workshops.

I have toured and played shows with bands such as Snow Patrol /Two door Cinema Club /Air /Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Paul Weller to name a few.

I have performed at festivals such as Glastonbury /Electric Picnic /Oxygen /SXSW festival / Postivus Festival and many more.

Lessons run from Bank House 135 Albertbrigde Road BT5 4PS

Slots run from 9am - 7pm Monday -Sunday

Lessons are priced at £10 per 30 min session and £20 per hourly session.
