She has 8 restaurants, 5 showrooms and lounges, a spa and fitness centre, a casino and a jogging track. Unfortunately, the Variety Voyager will no longer be calling on Friday. The streets of Belfast weren’t the only busy place on Saturday! Victoria Channel welcomed four Stena vessels at once; here are the Stena Scotia, VII, Lagan and Hibernia ships. We hope everyone had a great #pride weekend! Thanks to S.Mackey for the snap 😊

Unfortunately, the Variety Voyager has had to cancel her scheduled visit to Belfast tomorrow. The operators have advised this is due to operational issues with the ship but are hopeful that Voyager will return, as planned on the 17th.

Tomorrow sees the start of our busiest month for cruise ship activity with 26 vessels and more than 43,000 visitors due to arrive in Belfast Harbour. Yesterday we welcomed the Sea Cloud II into Port - she is definitely one of the most stylish cruise ships we have seen. Which ship calling in Belfast is your favourite? πŸ“· D. Martin (Port Ops Team).

*UPDATE* We have been advised that the The Variety Voyager will not now call in Belfast tomorrow.

#ThrowbackThursday - the Harbour Office pre 1857. The artist of this painting was never confirmed, however, it is thought to have been WJ Barre (designer of the Albert clock) because of the style of the people.

Congratulations to the MJM Group and everyone involved in the successful refurbishment of the Azamara Pursuit. She left Belfast last night after being berthed here for four months during her refit and we look forward to welcoming her back on 15th of August when she will bring 1000 visitors the City!

Our tenants in City Quays have the best views of #cruise ships coming in to #Belfast. Thanks to P. McAuley from UTV Northern Ireland, based in City Quays 2, for sharing this amazing picture, which he took whilst enjoying his morning coffee last week.

Titanic Centre , Nomadic , and of course the recently opened to the public HMS Caroline are not to be missed historical venues. Anyone interested in wild birds can visit the RSPB harbour reserve on Airport Road side of the harbour, free to RSPB members or a small charge of Β£3 for non members , inside the main hide there is free use of spotting scopes and binoculars .

User
