Alan is a genius at his profession. I can't believe how much his therapy has changed my life.
Alan was recommended to me by my father who was on 50 cigarettes a day and Alan got him to stop smoking. It was a miracle that he ever did!!! That was 10 years ago and he is still off them.
My problem was my lack of confidence when out in public or at meetings in work. I just froze when it was my turn to speak. It was effecting everything I did . Originally I went to another hypnotherapist but after numerous sessions it simply didn't do anything for me, so I was sceptical about going to yet another one. How WRONG was I!!
Alan told me it would take 4 sessions for this and his method was nothing like I went through before. That reassured me, and after the first session I saw myself starting to change. Not only at meetings but in every part of my life. I was much more relaxed , and started to get a spark in my life again. My self confidence just soared plus my belief in myself to do things and acheve goals was back!!
I just got promoted at work and can't believe it was so easy at the interview. Me - who could not string two words together without almost bursting into tears.
So if you are reading this and need help, no matter what for, ring Alan and have a chat with him. I did !
Now I'm looking forward to my wedding next year as well instead of dreading the “ all eyes on ME fear “ that I used to have.

Having suffered with a fear of flying for many years, after a particularly bad experience I decided to contact Alan. The results have been amazing, I have since taken 3 flights and my companions have all remarked on the vast improvement. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I contacted Alan regarding a phobia of fish. As silly as it sounds, and as I felt, Alan was extremely quick to make me feel at ease and for the first time ever he didn't laugh when I told him about my phobia.

I was told it would take 3 - 4 sessions for me to be 'cured' and we started on the journey of sorting my phobia.

I looked forward to listening to my CD's and often thought 'Could this really be working' but after just 1 session I was able to dip my feet into a river and after 2 sessions I was able to swim in the sea... it is approx. 20 years or more since I was able to do either of these things.

On my 3rd session Alan told me that I required no more.

I have to say I felt like I could conquer anything after visiting Alan. Even my husband said he noticed that I had become more confident and less stressed... its funny how I never realised this was happening.

I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend Alan Gilchrist if you think you require help for anything. He's great at his job and a gentleman.

I went to Alan a few years ago for a sleeping disorder I have had my whole life. I had tried everything and Hypnotherapy was the last resort for me. To say that Alan helped me would be an understatement- it was life changing. A few years on and I've never looked back. I have went back to Alan recently for another issue and it was just a reminder of how brilliant he is at this line of work and how legit it is, truly on top of his game. I'd recommend Alan to anyone, he is the best in Ireland by a mile!

I was just on Alan's website to book in again this time to lose weight and having read that review about stopping smoking I just felt that I had to put a review on of my own.
I am 23 years old and 3 years ago I went to Alan to stop smoking. I was on 30 cigarettes a day and it was really affecting both my health and pocket.
He was nothing but extremely helpful and I
found the whole hypnotic thing amazing and so so relaxing. I kept falling asleep over the cd that he gave me which was a bonus.
If I needed any advice he replied quickly.
3 years later I am still off the ciggies. That's why I'm going back.

Definitely worth every penny that was spent!
