Love Belfast Met. Have both studied and worked here. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to advance their academic career.

The Millfield campus - while being an older building - is still on par with the Titanic campus, and offers the same quality of education and equipment.

I love it. I'm doing foundation art and design and they couldn't be more supportive and helpful. As long as you put the work in they will do everything they can to help. The teaching is excellent in each class. I would recommend the arts courses to anyone!

Absolutely terrible. I applied to do Health and social care Level 3 around start of March 2016 i then got an email inviting me to a information session at end of May which I attended.
I contacted them around mid july and they told me they will contact me. I didn't hear anything from them again til the end of August when I received 3 emails late at night on Friday 19th August. One telling me that I was invited to enroll that day [I was never told to go or received an email telling me this] but didn't attend so they told me to go on Wednesday to enroll. On Tuesday I got an email telling me that all the places are full and that I should no longer go on Wednesday because there are no longer places open.
I emailed them telling them about my appointment they sent me on Friday about going on Wednesday to enroll. They told me I should of contacted them on Tuesday and there was nothing they can do.
How was I suppose to know to contact them on Tuesday when they told me to come on Wednesday? Disgraceful
I was then told to go online and see if anything interested me I then applied to do History, Art and Media at A level. I went to the clearing day to enroll for this and places were available as I sat down and filled out my enrollment forum I then showed the man my qualification results I have 4 gcse's, level 2 maths [which is equivalent to gcse maths grade C] level 2 ict at distinction and level 2 health and social care.
He then told me that I wasn't able to enroll for this because I didnt have 5 gcse's and that my equivalent gcse passes at level 2 wasnt acceptable.
I then checked their official webpage and it stated applicants must have 5 gcse's OR equivalent qualifications. I then showed him this and he then began raising his voice telling me in front of others 'don't tell me im wrong I think you should leave now.' I was very embarrassed and got my backpack and just before I left I showed him that the webpage stated I met the criteria for a place he then told me 'Ill be changing that because that is a mistake.'
This place is nothing but a disgrace in my short experience of visiting millfield and titanic campuses I have found the staff very rude and unhelpful.

Teachers are under a huge amount of pressure from the big bosses " This is how we want you to teach " !!!!!

Tutors don't care, they don't teach but you will still get easy qualifications. If you care about the experience don't bother, if you need the certificates then your in luck.
