Belfastology Walking Tours Description
Let me take you on a wee dander (as we say around here) through the city I grew up in, and as we go on a voyage of discovery, I'll paint you a picture off its past, present and future.
Noted for it's marvelous architecture, renowned for it's shipbuilding, and praised for it's attempts to bring peace to it's people.
As the dust finally settles, why not take a look at it's rich heritage through the eyes of a local gardener, or take one of our half day trips by local bus to a seal colony and castle. No more than an hour away form the city center. Or take the Eco Train Journey Walk a long sandy beach, and jump on the train again for a railway journey of the world into Northern irelands second city.

The Salmon Of Knowledge #TheMartiWay from #Belfastology of course ;)
At The Big Fish you'll hear the history of #Belfast(the Salmon of knowledge has to tell) . We will then walk over the Lagan Weir footbridge and into East Belfast and view Modern Street Art, Political Murals from the period known as the Troubles and pass through the area #Titanic Workers lived from the 1890s, and Finish in C.S.Lewis Sq (home to The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe Sculptures). We'll then continue to finish at the Birth Place of Titanic.

What a great way to spend an afternoon. Our wee walking group is always looking for something different and interesting and Marti did the job! We started at QUB, went through Botanic Gardens and made our way down to the Cathedral quarter. We all learned something and we could've went on. We will definately be back. Thank you!
We took Marti's incredibly robust tour at the end of our stay in Ireland (June 2017); and learned more about the history and current state of affairs of Belfast than we did after two weeks touring the rest of Ireland. We heartily recommend this tour for its breadth and for his inside knowledge of some pretty cool off-the-beaten track places. Marti is a great guide!
The first thing you should do in Belfast is this tour !! Best one I have done and I have been on many across the world. Get to know Belfast and the rest of Northern Ireland from a local who will tell you more than you could imagine !
No other way than the Marti way! It's a must! Marti is very friendly and kind and full of knowledge with a great sense of humour. Well worth booking him! Belfast is a great city and would highly recommend this guy to tell you all about it! Places we wouldn't have even thought of going to. He also recommended great pubs restaurants, museums - great way to spend time in Northern Ireland.
Marti was the best walking tour guide I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. I highly recommend his tours.
In a couple of hours I got to know more about Belfast than I know about my hometown Stockholm. Marti is full of knowledge about his hometown and I sincerely recommend everyone to make a tour with him. It's so entertaining! He narrate with passion and spontaneity. It sure is the Martiway!
If there's one thing you do in Belfast, do this. Marti will give you a real insight into life in Northern Irealnd and particularly Belfast. It's easy going and relaxed and he concentrates on what you're most interested in. It's a great walking tour with no rushing. He's also great at recommending other places to see and gives tips on great pubs and restaurants. I highly recommend him - try and get him earlier on in your stay as you might want to book him again - like we did the next day.
