Good evening I hope this message finds you all well. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our clients a very Happy Easter. I must admit I’m dearly missing each and everyone of you. The banter and laughter which creates a lovely buzz is gone and replaced with an eerie quietness that echos around the place. I have to be thankful we’re not totally deserted as there is horses still kicking the doors and whining. I hope and pray that this sad times passes soon, with us all in full health and fit to enjoy the banter and laughter again. Please take care and stay safe. Sending you all the warmest of wishes. It’s with an extremely heavy heart that I’m postponing all dressage shows and clinics until this nightmare ends for us all. The livery and private lessons will remain as normal. The arena will also be available for private hire. Stay safe and take care. Warm wishes Grainne.

🐎🐎🐎 UPDATE 🐎🐎🐎 Dressage show this Sunday the 22nd March
With everything feeling less than normal we want to bring a little something to keep riders movitated through this difficult time.
... So I’ve sought advise regarding the running of the above show and I’ve been told it’s safe to go ahead. Due to the nature of it been an non contact sport and low numbers. Please read the the following safety precautions in place to ensure it’s safe for everyone:
1 - We are implementing a “‘ride and go’ policy. Come along warm up, ride your test and if your doing two tests the time between your tests much be carried out with the correct social distance advised by the health organisations. There will be no tea/coffee facilities. The results of your test will be emailed or texted to you Sunday evening and rosettes can be collected at a later stage.
2 - please do not come to the yard if you have symptoms of COVID-19
3 - We ask riders where possible to use PayPal/bank transfer payment methods. (Text me for more information on this)
4 - there is plenty of antibacterial hand soap and paper towels in both the toilet and log cabin which you can avail of.
With all that in place I hope riders enjoy their dressage tests and we can all hope that this virus passes quicker than anticipated. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Pony express...! 😂😂😂

I have to say I throughly enjoy running these dressage shows. Almost as much as I like riding a dressage test. 😂. Thank you so much to each and everyone who braved the cold to attend the show. Looking forward to the 4th leg in two weeks time.

Thank goodness it’s March. Here’s hoping it brings better weather. So lots of training happening this month to get us all ready for the upcoming competition session. Here is the March schedule.
8th March: Dressage show open to everyone.
11th March: Mickey McCann SJ training. (Ard-Lu members only).
... 18th March: All day adult flat/SJ Camp with flat work in the morning and SJ in the afternoon. Open to everyone
21st March: Junior camp day 11am to 4pm open to all minors. .
22nd March: Dressage show open to everyone.
25th March: Mickey McCann SJ training. (Ard-Lu members only).

Well today the bad weather took a little break and the sun shone for our TRI dressage show. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped. Looking forward to seeing you all again in two weeks time.
