Thanks to Denis and the team from Causeway Coast Community who very kindly took some time to call by the kennels today to do some filming to help promote awareness of the amount of dogs in today's society that are unwanted and abandoned. This week alone we have had 16 unwanted dog surrendered into our care, a normal months surrenders in just a few days.

Mitch, Samson, Casey and Twiggy just rehomed from Benvardin all settling well in their new homes.
Good luck to our good friends from Pedro Pet Foods who stopped by Benvardin this afternoon to give all three of their latest trucks in the fleet a final wash before making their way to the Causeway Coast Truck Fest tomorrow. All three trucks left gleaming and surely worthy of a prize!
Poppy the Pomski , rehomed yesterday settling in well in her new home.
A massive thank you to Richard Lyons a local farmer and great supporter of Benvardin who very kindly came along today with this beast of a tractor and trimmed the trees and hedges along our boundaries completely free of charge.
RIP "Jack" 2003 - 2018.

A massive thank you once again to Paul Neill from Castle Engineering and Crane hire. Paul sent us out a 60 tonne crane at short notice this morning to lift and shift some portacabin buildings and when I asked what we owed, him simply said, " Not a thing, have it as a donation and save your money to help the animals, it's the least we at Castle Engineering can do for you guys at Benvardin". So a massive thank you to Paul and all the staff at Castle Engineering.
