Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel

Menu has changed recently. It is not as extensive as before. Also not quite of same quality. Friendly service as always.

Spa is very basic. Facials are great. 25m pool is okay but not many lanes available and very small kid pool. Sauna is small but good. Steam room is quite dirty but works well. Good changing facilities and friendly staff.

We did have a great stay at the hotel. Though the rooms were a bit on the small size, the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant is ok, not bad but not exceptionally good either. Nice hotel, well located.

One of the few chain hotels in Londonderry is the Best Western White Horse hotel, which is located on the outside of town. There is plenty of free parking at the hotel and they main road is next to the hotel. The rooms are average size and they have small safes and some storage space. Whilst the lobby area has been refreshed sadly the rooms are a little dated. The hotel has a nice gym and a good 20 meter pool. The restaurant options are okay but overpriced and the service wasn't great. Sadly there was no recognition of elite status with Best Western and no upgrades for diamond members. All in all a solid low end property which is well located if you are passing through for a night's stay.

Went on Valentines night , was nice restaurant friendly staff good atmosphere orderd some spicy chicken wings for starters nice just a touch spicy for me then had the Felafel as main course as wanted to try it plate arrived in good service was excellent then noticed it was very black looking so tried it it was dry burnt and tasteless as I never had Felafel before didn't complain but now realise I should have because it was a disc race

Ok hotel as for 4* at best maybe a 3* not local to anywhere £15 taxi ride to londonderry center.Cheap and Cheerful.

I stayed here for nearly a month while working in the area, I got to know the staff pretty well. All great people. The resturant staff was a little stuffy at first but they got used to the crew. The front desk attendants were amazing, always seemed to go out of their way to help. This hotel sits away from the city life, about a 10 minute drive. Looking forward to getting back to the area.
