ABOUT BLACKSTAFF PRESS

Our publishing programme is wide-ranging and diverse and embraces both fiction and non-fiction. We have published over 800 titles since Blackstaff was founded in 1971, covering a range of subjects including history, politics, cookery, memoir, sport, fiction, poetry and travel.

Blackstaff receives generous assistance from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to enable us to encourage, support and publish Irish writers and Irish literature. John Hewitt, Paul Durcan and Bernard McLaverty have all graced our list over the years and Glenn Patterson, Patricia Craig, Jason Johnson, Ciaran Carson and Éilís Ní Dhuibhne are just a few of the many writers in our current stable of authors.

As of 28th April 2017 Blackstaff Press became part of the Colourpoint Group.
