With just a few days notice, promises were made and then broken. The corporate way.
Still. An outstanding, breathtaking and sometimes exhausting 21months of creativity and fun. Creative cocktails as good as anything you could find on this green island. Creative food, art classes for the creative and art rave for the partiers, the first Gin Distilled in Belfast this century. We partied weekly with the GOT team and threw them their wrap party to end all parties. Created Irelan...ds first ever citrus. Came up with Soul Straws.. just Irish Grass cut and dehydrated. Simple. We pushed no matter the financial cost to remove single use plastic and reduce our carbon footprint. We created the first company of it’s kind anywhere in the world “kegging” cocktails that are both bespoke and fresh. What a 21 months. Oh and we even made it our big screen debut with Line Of Duty.
We did all that while throwing some of the best small parties Belfast has ever seen. Or so we think.. but we usually had a few bottles of Don Julio in us for those. So maybe not. Shout out to every DJ but special mention to our residents Andy Johnston, Chris Hanna and Gary Quinn.
As chapter 1 of Fouriers Blaklist comes to a close, Cocktail Keg Company and Anam Irish Citrus will push on. We’ve already begun Chapter 2, now to find a space that can one up the story of the first.
Local. Sustainable. Creative.
